it does look good, its a nice picture, but in the SBS i cant really see where you restored anything besides just really changing the color of the image and raising the contrast... can you explain what else you did? just curious cause i must be missing something

Has a great feel to it ... unfortunately as Adhir said there is some white on the pillar where her hand is that takes away from the red effect. I also find the white glow around her is a bit distracting but that could be just me?

Its really nice image manipulation as per my view.

Few things I would like to suggest:

1. Figures of girl is cutting and pillar make it bit bright.
2. Pillar have some white color at bottom remove that.
3. As "CMYK46 says" - remove blue color.

your main source image can't be used off of dA. i'd change the model stock before your whole idea gets pulled.
edit: better. Now you could work on cleaning up the edges a bit.

Ummm...I don't see a nose horn.

The nose horn gets lost in the dark background. Perhaps lightening the barn just a bit to better emphasize the contrast?
