This is a wonderful setting that would benefit greatly from some post production corrections.
The major error here is the white blowout of the water creating a hazy glare that affects the sharpness of the whole image.
Some photo editing tools are readily available online and can be downloaded for free. Google's PICASA3 for example. These tools can help improve a photos appeal drastically and are fun and easy to use.

If the figure is supposed to be a ghost it should be transparent.

somehow the angel's color blend is still not right, it's got to have a combination of the top & bottom colors

Nice idea but I would maybe suggest putting something to obscure the fade on the hands and lower body, maybe some simple sparkles or shiny bits, as if the child has just appeared if by magic. Also, a bit trivial, but scaling down some of the duplicate butterflies ever so slightly might make it immediately less obvious that they are identical.

His back should also be shadowed, try to clone the shadow he already has to the extent of all his back surface - or paint it and multiply, if it's easier.
The umbrella should also have a shadow of it's own.

Draw a line from the sun through the base of the umbrella. That's where your shadow should be. As mentioned, the man & bottle need shadows also. Good mood & color.

There are no shadows behind the man or the bottle, and the light reflection on the bottle is from the wrong side, since the sun is behind it.

good idea, i really like it, but the blending on the rock and the color in the head should have been adjusted. All you have to do is go to that layer, and go to Image>adjustments>Hue/Saturation. that could have made your little guy look much more real.

Nice job of choosing the right sources for the coat and direction of the light. I noticed that you added eyes to the statue. Thats fine but the hat on the guy doesn't pass as anything other than a statue. You can probly get away with the skin, but I would suggest putting a real hat on him.

Nice idea author! You blended the head to the statue pretty well. Although the cloning of the base for the statue could still use some work. If you used the original bronze statue in the source picture instead of the extra statue it would've saved you the trouble of cloning the background and the original source would more noticeable. author this is nice image but demand a bit more work...Try to blend elements a bit better...watching your image u could achieve that using some color layers....First, on top of all layers create dark brown layer, blend mode set to color with opacity in between 20-40%. Then create golden layer with similar settings and on top of that dark green layer with blend mode set to soft light around 15-30%...Just an idea...GL
