everything about this is perfect.
(5 years and 3696 days ago)this is a fantastic compostition, very dramatic and moving.
(5 years and 3700 days ago)definitely get rid of the type. and maybe change the material of the bowl to metal or replace it with a pot.
(5 years and 3700 days ago)the drop shadows flatten the image out. you should paint in your own shadows as they would naturally be cast onto the ground. the cat on the right drops a shadow onto the sky, which is not natural. your entry is a fun idea but still needs to be tightened up a bit.
(5 years and 3700 days ago)Its a very good start with one week experience. Even though the clouds and the plastic wrap filters in PS can give a reasonable effect, you could definitely achieve more realism using addtional stock photos for clouds and water. You definitely have the potential here so keep working at it and you work will certainly grow exponentially.
(5 years and 3700 days ago)definitely the scariest plant of the lot!
(5 years and 3700 days ago)awesome work, very photorealistic. How about an sbs to share your secret?
(5 years and 3700 days ago)I'm impressed, modelling a horse is no small task. And nobody else seems to be up for such a challenge. Good luck
(5 years and 3701 days ago)the links to your sources aren't working. please fix. The girl looks like the one from the album cover "In Strict Confidence - Holy"
(5 years and 3701 days ago)hmmm. thats a fun concept. good work and creativity.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)beautiful and peaceful. you even included 7 extra designs. I tried making something to submit, but it was alot more chanlenging to get good results than I expected. So i can appreciate just how much work this was. Good Work!
(5 years and 3701 days ago)flawless work on a perfect pun.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)hee hee hee [gasp] haha......
(5 years and 3701 days ago)good pun. The rat dafinitely looks crazy. But you could have put a little more into making some cartoon eyeballs that matched the rest of the image in realism.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)simple and a wee bit naughty, but without beeing too grapic. :P I like the treatment on the surface of the sign, to give it that dirty aged look.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)hee hee. what a happy looking pig. I immediately interpreted the legs as being tucked under, which is a great detail.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)It's a great chop job with lots of obvious effort put into it, but I agree you need to add a description. The pun is lost on me, and it would be a shame for you to get lower scores all because the humor is lost in translation.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)excellent clean chop. but why is the clock floating? That reads a little odd to me. One small detail -- your crop is off center. But otherwise an excellent effort. And I give you bonus points for all the little hairs on the fly with not a single bit of clipping.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)great concept! and well executed...
(5 years and 3701 days ago)good job and good composition. It is a little too dark overall. And the fog shouldn't be under the dog and stein, it should be slightly above the ground wrapping around the bottom of the objects. Compliments for the shadows cast from the moon through the trees, its a nice detail many people would have overlooked.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)oh. my. gawsh. very clever.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)oh boy, that butter is repulsive looking, all oily and wet. It reminds me of the stuff that was left behind in the kitchen when I bought my house. oh the horror. Anyway good job, the shadows and transparencies all look better.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)ha ha ha ha......
(5 years and 3701 days ago)I like it. very dark and sinister. Had someone told me to make a visual pun of a devil'd egg I would have gone with the classic red guy with horns, moustach, and pitchfork. Which is actually why I like this one so much, its a unique approach. Good work!
(5 years and 3701 days ago)very convincing, almost to the degree that it is creepy gross. perfect chop.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)unique idea and perfect depth of field.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)very simple, but was the first one to make me chuckle out loud. good luck.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)the bone definitely needs its color adjusted. more of white and cream color and less green. will hold my vote for now.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)actually the floating doesn't bother me. it makes sense with the flag behind it. It reads less as a photo of realism and more of a composition of elements like a poster. I could totally see this on the wall in a grade school. good job.++
(5 years and 3701 days ago)maybe if you cropped down the image, you would get more impact with the flies, without detracting from the image as a whole. As much as i like the panoramic framing, you could easily remove the left 1/4 of the image and that would push the two flies into the foreground (closest objects to the camera)
(5 years and 3701 days ago)I agree with CMYK that the reflection could be toned down a bit. Perhaps fade it out as it gets further from the bulb. Also, not a big issue (no points subtracted) but the moon should block out any stars that are behind it, so hide the three stars that should be obscured.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)great looking flame technique. i'll have to try using it as well. high marks.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)the seal you used is perfect for this image. i like the way you can tell he is looking at the camera out of the corner of his eye. The level of blur and film grain between the two images match perfectly as well. nice job, i like it.
(5 years and 3701 days ago)Nice work. Perhaps you could add some shadow or reflection under his feet to give it a more finished look.
(5 years and 3755 days ago)There's nothing quite like the bright eyed smile on a pup! Always makes me smile too.
(5 years and 3756 days ago)It took me a minute, but after caught the tummy.....brilliant, very witty. Clean up her midsection though. The tummy doesn't match the blending and material of the rest and the busoms are a little choppy. Otherwise you've got the makings of top notch entry.
(5 years and 3774 days ago)EDIT: Perfect, I love it!
It's a shame you ran out of time. I liked where you were going with it. The color and contrast are great. The only thing that leaves it looking unfinished is the white peeking through and the background. You still desrve a pat on the back though. =).
(5 years and 3776 days ago)It's nice work but the original source should probably play a more prominant role.
(5 years and 3777 days ago)Great concept. So simple, well executed, and entertaining. It's the first image I've put in my favs.
(5 years and 3778 days ago)So much awesome stuff going on here. Cool robot. Perfect reflections. Great use of source and great details.
(5 years and 3778 days ago)Very nice work. I think the bright blue vignette is detracting from your final result. Anyone else agree?
