us in 50 years? I would go for it
(5 years and 3513 days ago)About the reading glasses Erikuri: just bought them this week... getting old LOL
Thanks for the congrats author and great song! THANKS!
(5 years and 3513 days ago)Thanks so much for the congrats! And Drivenslush, I'm just 2.05 meter
(5 years and 3515 days ago)wahahahahaha at least I've got hair now...
(5 years and 3515 days ago)Looks better now author
(5 years and 3549 days ago)I like what you are doing here but you might want to match the color of the cross with the background (select layer with cross > image > adjustments . match color (in CS4)), it somehow stands out a bit to me ATM.
(5 years and 3549 days ago)Maybe some ideas on how to improve this: 1. try to remove the water which is above the bottle, that way it looks like the water is flushing out of it. 2. try to match the color (light) of the bottle with the background. 3. when done take a little bit extra of off the topside of the bottle (there's a white line) 4. when everything is done make a new layer, use a small soft brush (max 5 pxls) and blur the edges of the bottle (make sure you check "Sample All Layers" before you start). That way the hard edges will disappear. Good luck
(5 years and 3563 days ago)congrats on your third place Sweety
(5 years and 3588 days ago)Congrats on 1st, deserved!
(5 years and 3596 days ago)Before blaming the mods more please read this: http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1442
(5 years and 3604 days ago)Great entry author! I really have no problems with the left legs and their perspective, it just adds dynamics to your image.
(5 years and 3635 days ago)Eventhough it has some minor perspective problems I love what you did author. You might want to rethink the vignet, personally i like step 9 of the SBS better. The colours are great and the mood is wonderfull, you did a good job on the source and you are thinking out of the box here Good find on the outside sources and perfect combination. Overall: good job!
(5 years and 3666 days ago)Congrats and WB
(5 years and 3694 days ago)very nice but maybe put the ants in a more random spot makes it more lifelike
(5 years and 3698 days ago)Very nice idea! Just some tips: 1. try bending the woodstructure on the top 2 fingers a bit, so they follow the fingers shapes. 2. the girl is to blurry compared with the hand. 3. Add some shadows coming from the thumb on/and other fingers. Those are details which will enhance your image.
(5 years and 3700 days ago)Try using the perspective tool to put the marker inline. (select the layer with marker > edit > transform > perspective) Then use the warp tool to correct the round edges of the marker.
(5 years and 3704 days ago)Good luck!
yahoo, got my own robot!
(5 years and 3704 days ago)This looks much better author! The blending is good
(5 years and 3706 days ago)You might want to blur the girl a bit (it's to sharp compared to the background), then use a small blur brush and trace the outline of the girl (this will help to blend her in more). Then have a look again at her shadow, in my opinion it should go up the stairs as the light is coming from the front. It will be worth the efford and will make the image much better. Good luck
(5 years and 3706 days ago)This looks nice and I'm sure you did a lot of work in Maya, but the strenght of this entry is in the source image you used uncut. Wish you'd used more PS and more of you to make this work...
(5 years and 3706 days ago)I love the mood of this image but I'm missing the final details like shadows. The spiders have a bit of a cut&paste feeling, this can be solved by adding shadows, both on the spiders and the surroundings. Hope you have time for some adjustments. I think, when done well, it's really worth the effort and will benefit the image.
(5 years and 3713 days ago)Great stuff! maybe remove the visible pencillines fi between the ears?
(5 years and 3716 days ago)Love it, the darn thing has got character
(5 years and 3720 days ago)hopefully we'll see your drawings at PXLEyes too! Very good photo, I love b&w!
(5 years and 3722 days ago)Good going! Congrats on the victory!
(5 years and 3722 days ago)I disagree CMYK If it's just a wall with a window in it the shadows are correct. The windmill itself looks oversaturated though.
(5 years and 3724 days ago)Great job, congrats on 2nd
(5 years and 3729 days ago)Congrats on 1st, you earned it!
(5 years and 3729 days ago)you might want to look at the shadow of the floating boat again, it's pointed in the wrong direction
(5 years and 3729 days ago)Yes author I like the changes
(5 years and 3746 days ago)very very very nice! Love the structure on the trees, great technique
(5 years and 3746 days ago)Nice one Try to blur the ship, it's in the distance and the water is blurred. Besides that a tip: use a small soft blurbrush (max 50%) and trace the edges of your blends, it's a 5 minutes job but it will make everything blend in. But nice mood and nice colors
(5 years and 3746 days ago)very good image, try to adjust the perspective on some of the buildings (at least the 2 on the left). Could be done with fi warp, but go gentle on it Otherwise, nice color, good atmosphere, good entry
(5 years and 3746 days ago)I like this line "Rain, rain, go to Spain",
(5 years and 3751 days ago)send it to Mqtrf and Mymy!!! You've got 2 angry mods now. LOL
Nice enhancement on the background author
(5 years and 3769 days ago)Wont talk about the background
(5 years and 3770 days ago)would be nice if you'd put in another background, it will make a big difference from this rather dull one. I feel it would really enhance your image and score
(5 years and 3770 days ago)congrats
(5 years and 3771 days ago)Nice image! The background looks really good, you could improve the colors of the foreground, they don't really blend in IMHO. Try this: 'image > adjustments > match color' on the foreground layers. There's some extra points in this for this image
(5 years and 3772 days ago)Really great image! Love the mood and the colors.
(5 years and 3772 days ago)very nice would love to see a high res and a SBS, curious if this is painted or filterwork
(5 years and 3777 days ago)I love what you did but maybe the white line is to strong? If it had the intensity (or a little more) of the red / green lines I believe it will enhance your image. Otherwise: great blending, great idea, great chop
(5 years and 3780 days ago)Ontheme or offtheme I really don't mind, it's a good image Even if it's pulled out of the contest you can be proud of this author and that's just what it's all about: you made a damn good image! (but I hope it stays in)
(5 years and 3782 days ago)I'm dutch and I'm missing the cheese darn it! Just kidding author, nice picture
(5 years and 3783 days ago)Just discovered 2 weeks ago my grandmother was raised on a mill, suddenly I have a soft spot for them LOL
I like the idea of your entry
(5 years and 3784 days ago)Perspective wise the source image (the tower) is off. Should be an easy fix to correct this with the perspective tool (edit > transform > perpective) and make to top a little wider.
(5 years and 3784 days ago)OOO and don't forget to post the sources for the sky AND stairs you used
The idea is really good, but you'll need to pay more attention to the masking and blending. The high res looks really terrible to be honest; but your imagination is great. Get your skills up and you'll have some awesome images coming in the future.
(5 years and 3784 days ago)I think the problem i sthe left eye, it's a little bit to big, needs to be rotated a bit and maybe add some perspective to it. All just some minor adjustments
(5 years and 3784 days ago)Great work BTW and on-theme if you ask me
great image maybe you can lower the horizon of the town, there's a problem with perspective and that way you'll be able to solve it
(5 years and 3789 days ago)Bravo, well drawn! My only problem would be: I'm wondering how this fits the theme. What I see isn't really a future world, it's more a very good drawn fantasy / manga "scene / page /story". I'll hold my vote untill others add their views on this.
(5 years and 3790 days ago)Will be a difficult call for the mods...
