(5 years and 291 days ago)Like the panoramic effect used here
(5 years and 423 days ago)I like the way you have framed this with the silhouettes of trees on either side. The eye is led to the clouds.
(5 years and 514 days ago)the cat put them there
(5 years and 548 days ago)There has to be a story behind this. Where are they going? Are they friends or is the dog fish food? I needs to know.

(5 years and 600 days ago)Congrats! Now you have to send us all one.
(5 years and 600 days ago)Looks delicious, but a nice photo as well. Like the DOF
(5 years and 601 days ago)Can I marry you? I would cut off my right arm for these....all of em, not just one. Like the way you filled up the whole page with these mouthwatering pieces. The dof has been wisely used to focus on one but keep the back up singers still in fine soft focus. Nice.
(5 years and 610 days ago)Want to have one of these
(5 years and 611 days ago)There are a few things I really like about your post. The artistry in your composition and usage of d.o.f. is brilliant and the white blow outs work to enhance mystery and focus on the tea. I think we need to have a "blow outs" contest because this photo is a great example of how "blow outs" work to strengthen a photograph. Thank you for this post for it has got me thinking (and that is a rare occurrence lately).
(5 years and 640 days ago)Congrats Rob!
(5 years and 649 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 649 days ago)I like it.
(5 years and 657 days ago)Well, let me jump in on this debate. This post shows a lot of creativity and rocks ... I love the alien feel to this planetoid and just hope it doesn't infest my ....my.....my.... ear canals. Nice and thank you for looking outside the box.
(5 years and 658 days ago)Two halves make one spheroid-planetoid
(5 years and 661 days ago)It's not really a planetoid, it's a mirrored half planet actually...
(5 years and 666 days ago)Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is gorgeous. It looks like an alien creature that is eating my inner ear and working it's way into my brain. I really like how the sun is behind the thing and the trees look like tentacles that will suck the life right out of my skull. You have no noise, tightly cropped nice colour paltette and just really great. I'm going now to look up how to do this technique. What a great site to learn all this new stuff. Your work is inspirational. Thank you.
(5 years and 667 days ago)Good yob brother robvdn
(5 years and 694 days ago)I really prefer the step one...
(5 years and 699 days ago)Thank you , I'm so computer challenged.
(5 years and 708 days ago)WHere can I find them?
(5 years and 709 days ago)Awwww how can we learn if you don't say how you arrived at this stunning portrait. Tell us your steps............please.
(5 years and 710 days ago)WHAT???? NO DROOL. What a handsome gentleman we see here and we cannot help but wonder what caught his eye. The horizon line slices his head in half but it is nicely blurred and all sharpness is on dog. It is so sharp that I can see every strand of brushed fur...he looks so well cared for that I just want to hug him and give him a big squish. The colour palette is natural and matches his handsome profile.
(5 years and 713 days ago)congrats
(5 years and 842 days ago)Congratulations Rob, and especially for the all over win. Great photos, and thank you for organising the contests.
(5 years and 842 days ago)Nice one congrats on your win.
(5 years and 842 days ago)Congrats Rob!
(5 years and 842 days ago)Top of the shelf. Clarity spot on, nice gentle vignette, exposure magnificent, marginal space adequate and KAZAMMMMMM a dynamic diagonal slant. Purrrrfect.
