Good idea, nice color, but the inside of the shell doesn't look right. The pearls is casting a shadow in the air it seems, and the inside of the shell is distorted in shape compared to the outside.

Some advice. The sunlight wouldn't be hitting the chimp, wood, and fish as indicated. More shadow would be present in those locations since the sun is being blocked. Good idea though.

Love the homage to POTA for sure. Would have been cool to see a tighter crop for a better view of the statue. Nice job!

Interesting spin Author. You might want to consider using less of a smooth blend for the transition between skin and sand since sand is rougher. The yellow glare above and next to the nose is distracting as well. Would be cool to see human hands sticking out of the sand or perhaps real hair and beard partly transitioned.

Nice job and methodology. My only point would be frame 3, where the hair would have some shadow behind the left shoulder and neck. Well done!
