I really like this photo, you've certainly stopped him, on the third coming into the photo, I find my eyes drawn up through the tyre and bike to rest on his face, it looks even better in hi-res. Well done Oh, and he's handsome

(5 years and 927 days ago)Stunning
(5 years and 927 days ago)You have everything right about this self portrait. First of all it has tremendous visual impact and that is stemming from the technical elements which are well handled from the sharpness, to light source, to tonal ranges are all there. You also have post processed this perfectly leaving a smoky feel and that marries well with your title. Your POV is what really makes this strong, by pointing your camera up the looking "up to you" for the viewer gives this image a noble feel compound that with your eyes gazing beyond is pure magic. The grunge on your face speaks of your job as does the helmet. This is a very powerful photograph and you are lucky to have been born with great genes. Top marks to you.
(5 years and 927 days ago)powerfull portrait and with good clarity
(5 years and 927 days ago)congrats on this
(5 years and 964 days ago)Congratulations on this win.
(5 years and 965 days ago)All about the hair. Good entry, I got an emotional pull with this upload of yours.
(5 years and 967 days ago)That is sooooo creepy.
(5 years and 967 days ago)Ooooh
(5 years and 967 days ago)I agree to the above comment. This is history and the truck is massive. If someone doesn't get to it soon it will become history. Real steel. Plastic and aluminum don't rust. Just an excellent shot.
(5 years and 967 days ago)Why does this shot have such a personality attached to it? Reminds me of my husband, old, grungy, full of history. Nice realistic colours, well framed, seems to be talking to me. I like it a lot.
(5 years and 969 days ago)Is there a wee tilt to the L on this? Like the straight in your face presentation.
(5 years and 969 days ago)I live in Florida... thanks a lot! hehehe
(5 years and 1001 days ago)Congratulations...
(5 years and 1006 days ago)Congrats rturnbow
(5 years and 1007 days ago)Your POV on this photograph rocks! YES. You have come down low and it makes this toy truck HUGE...now that is a great inspirational way of seeing the small world around us. The colours are wonderful, the exposure spot on and marginal space equal. By placing those mandarin oranges hither and dither further excites us visually. Clear and sharp as a bell! Lovely.
(5 years and 1013 days ago)Is the rubber band on there so it can't snap at you?
(5 years and 1014 days ago)Loaded with Tangerines!
(5 years and 1014 days ago)You created a very scary looking creature. Well done.
(5 years and 1014 days ago)What happens when he has a cold and needs to blow his nose? It certainly causes my imagination to run riot.
(5 years and 1019 days ago)You did a great job on the tat but I am sure you could make the whole work look more artistic if you changed the background as well. All that stuff in the background is distracting.
...and no one will ever listen to another word this man says for the rest his life .. all they will do is look at him and say, "Didn't that hurt?"..
(5 years and 1019 days ago)Okay, I stole that from Rita Rudner but it's still funny.. hehehe.. super great job
Well done.... But ew... it's gross.
(5 years and 1020 days ago)This is a great close up of rusted wire. I love the grunge and feel it could even be more grunged without killing the shot. You have found that little upturned piece, something to catch our eye and it does and it does and brings a smile to our face. Look behind that upturned wire....see it? ....that bright white "hair" (for lack of a better word). The natural pathway of the eye is to always gravitate to the brightest pop on the canvas. So we see the upturned wire but then our eye gets pulled into the white pop behind it....you could clone it out...I do believe that is allowed in the rules and then nothing at all would be competing with that wire. I love the full frame presentation...one can feel this shot. Very clever.
(5 years and 1031 days ago)Congratulations...
(5 years and 1041 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 1041 days ago)Congrats Randy!
(5 years and 1041 days ago)Congrats Randy!!
(5 years and 1041 days ago)Great DOF
(5 years and 1043 days ago)I think this is quite the creative and inventive upload and it is inspirational. You teach us to look at the world differently, closer, out of the box. Your diffused eye is dynamite in soft bokeh which supports the main subject (that bubble) which is so well framed, & sharp. Technically and artistically this image rocks. The contrast is well done , your exposure is sublime with no blow outs or block ups...This is a well thought out upload and it was a treasure to find. I enjoyed reviewing this image.
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Looks better.
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Were you standing on the wing to catch this?
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Congrats Randy.
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Congrats Randy
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Congrats Randy.
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Congrats Randy!!
(5 years and 1048 days ago)Congratulations....
(5 years and 1049 days ago)IMO It looks like the boat is flying instead of floating. More masking at the bottom and tires will help to place boat in the water. As for reflections CMYK is right, they are wrong. Use the skew tool to push them to the left, underneath the boat.... nice entry... good look.
(5 years and 1049 days ago)Well done, composition, colors, all of it.
(5 years and 1050 days ago)You did a good job... good luck...
(5 years and 1051 days ago)Source for tires? Reflection of tires is at wrong angle.
