I disagree. To me, the buildings give the antenna a sense of scale, and explain why the colors are so vivid on a dull sky by letting us know where the sun is at and that it is not covered by clouds.
(5 years and 3204 days ago)This is a perfect example of the Droste Effect.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Hmmm... I don't think this qualifies for the Droste Effect, as the image changes in every subsequent image.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Sorry, it's a nice image though.
This is simply amazing!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)duct...
(5 years and 3206 days ago)My neck hurts just looking at this.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)I never knew the stars would move so far in 30 seconds!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Really? Are those light glares real?
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Ah, those who are so cynical. I think it's great. You made an effort, it looks good, and no one can say that their's is better. The roots at the head are a nice touch as well.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)This is a fantastic model! Great work!
(5 years and 3285 days ago)Super cool!
(5 years and 3285 days ago)This is fantastic! Was the depth of field rendered or added in afterwards?
(5 years and 3287 days ago)The mountains are great!
(5 years and 3287 days ago)Simplicty at it's best.
(5 years and 3289 days ago)Agreed, looks fantastic!
(5 years and 3295 days ago)I love the texture on the cigarette, but the flame looks disproportional to its size. Additionally, that is the only lighter I've ever seen that could light without the button being depressed.
(5 years and 3296 days ago)This is so funny.
(5 years and 3308 days ago)The floor looks fantastic, as does the trim, but the scale of the Electric plug is way off! Additionally, it should be 13 inches from the floor (to center)
(5 years and 3308 days ago)I agree... my favorite by far.
(5 years and 3308 days ago)Shouldn't it be spelled flAmingo? unless the bird has a cold... phlegmingo
(5 years and 3315 days ago)Hey, where is the color on the sky?
(5 years and 3315 days ago)Yum!
(5 years and 3315 days ago)Good job. The background texture of the brick is throwing me off. It appears that the mortar joints are actually sticking out of the brick. Also, the shadow on the brick is completely smooth, giving evidence that there is not bump or displacement on it. Perhaps duplicating that backround and using it as a bump or displacement map would breath real life into it.
(5 years and 3315 days ago)Based on the angle of the camera, I think the background image is too low (and at the wrong angle). Perhaps you should try to change your perspective on the trash bin so you are looking slightly down on it to match the background. It's also rare that a wood floor would be at 45 degrees to the wall.
(5 years and 3315 days ago)I think it's on theme. I love the string!
(5 years and 3316 days ago)I think it would have been better the other way around.... a bunch of lit matches around a single non-lit match....but that would have been nearly impossible to pull off...and, I'm rambling... still, great entry and idea!
(5 years and 3316 days ago)I'll bet that's harder than it looks.
(5 years and 3322 days ago)May I ask how you achieved the green background?
(5 years and 3333 days ago)Nice job - I may have to enter in another one now :}
(5 years and 3337 days ago)The sky is great!
(5 years and 3338 days ago)I can see what you're saying about cropping it. It looks like too much dark, but it's hard to appreciate the light without it.
(5 years and 3338 days ago)Very nice! I love different takes on illuminated objects and dynamically lit scenes.
(5 years and 3338 days ago)And you either flipped the image, or you're the best backwards cursive writer in the world!
(5 years and 3339 days ago)Can I be the first to say that this is FANTASTIC!
(5 years and 3339 days ago)This would have been so cool had the ferris wheel been spinnin'
(5 years and 3341 days ago)Yes, lighting and colors are funky, and mismatched. Great job on the cat shadow, by the way.
(5 years and 3346 days ago)Keep in mind that the ball would be a solid blur, and not made up of many balls to look like a blur. Furthermore, the last ball would not be any less opaque than the rest of them. This image implies that the ball stopped after moving extremely fast, which isn't the case.
(5 years and 3346 days ago)I'm actually glad you SBS'd it. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw this pic, but was quickly corrected when I saw the SBS. This photo is spectacular!
(5 years and 3346 days ago)Fantastic!
(5 years and 3346 days ago)I like the darkness, it adds a nice dynamic to the entire image.
(5 years and 3346 days ago)Cherry looks fine. Wine glass looks jagged... forgot to subd it perhaps?
(5 years and 3346 days ago)What are the tall barrels for?
(5 years and 3346 days ago)Simplicity at it's best!
(5 years and 3346 days ago)The tree looks like it's popping out of the card. If this was your goal, it would have been nice to raise the tree up so it's higher than the left fold of the card. Good luck!
(5 years and 3346 days ago)Is this an HDR?
(5 years and 3351 days ago)I'd be scared to get my lens around that much mud!
(5 years and 3351 days ago)I think the light is fine, it's a necessary evil.
(5 years and 3351 days ago)Ya, this is great. I love the way it looks.
(5 years and 3351 days ago)The page almost looks illuminated
(5 years and 3355 days ago)Fantastic!!
