Just a wee suggestion for next time ...try to have the source and the background image better matched resolution ... your idea is very good but with the high quality of the Dragon and the low quality of your background image it just doesn't work ... If you have any trouble or don't know what I am talking about feel free to PM me and I will see if I can help. Very good idea though!

Idea and image is good but you have to work on blending and the edge of the dog are strong, edge of the water at the window are strong, and the fish looks like a ghost , hahaha
My advice is that the pictures could be great just to correct those things

The figure is really blurry compared to the source image. You need to use a harder edged brush when you paint.

Fun image ... the legs could use a little bit of shading so they don't appear so flat. You can do it by selecting the image then create an levels adjustment layer that will have the legs as a mask, then you can adjust the Levels to darken the image and "paint" down the center of the legs mask to reduce/remove the darkening from that part of the legs. Leaving the darkened edges.

It is a very fun image! Clever idea but poor crab!

Very nice idea, but in my opinion the roots under water have to be a bit darker for a right wet-look!

Actually even though the shadow is from the source, it should be extended.

I agree with CMYK46, a darker tone on the vertical face would help. The shadow of the biker is from the source so it makes sense but you could try to even up the shadows tonality. It is a funny concept!

The bottom of the hat looks too blurry, and the jacket looks like nothing was done to it, making it seem that you just pasted the face on top.
