I found a bush that had bees all over it. Thought a great time to use my Nikon 60mm macro lens. I didn't realize til I looked up once that I was less than 6" away from hundreds of bees! It's the little things you don't notice everyday, the pollen in his eyes, the veins in his wings that makes...

Flying Friend

My first day with my macro lens and I found this little guy on my hip. I picked him up, but he wouldn't go away. Finally, I set my camera to self timer and held my finger up and moved back and forth to focus. I was amazed at the detail when I saw the photo.
