I guess the reason it was removed was the angle it was taken from to high an angle, you are still looking down at the fruit, rather than straight at it.

Moderators are right, you don't have the correct point of view ... To follow the "theme" of this contest, it might have been better to take this picture from below the fruit, not from above. Like this it's like everyone should take a picture, only with a zoom for instance. We don't fell like a small liliput when we look at your picture.

I'm not sure what you mean. Entries are submitted to be voted on and to receive comments and advice. The author is anonymous until you place your vote after which his/her name is visible. You won't see the scores an entry receives only the number of votes placed, how many comments were made how many favored the entry and how many views it received.
How can you vote for an entry if you can't see it?

major HABOOB.. hehehehe.. (New word.. had to be LOL)

going through the image with a blur brush over the rough edges would really help (high res visual).. (print version would probably turn out okay, but in a digital setting everything will show... thinking about the agitation that would happen to the surrounding edges would be helpful as well

the overall image is very fun and interesting.. half the battle, you need to just take a step back and say "what can I do to make this even better".. (in all honesty it is very well done) especially when it comes from your heart

Good idea, but a bit sloppy, especially with the front windows. Might be better to crop the foreground of the ocean source so it doesn't look like the ship is running aground.
