I agree with Slushy that a different color of background will make all the difference to pop up your image; now it's everything uniform, the boy is mixed with the background. And fixing the rough edges of the hat (or would it be hair?) your image will get much better. GL!...

I suggest you besides moving the shadow to the left, make it darker, as the shadow on the wall, and make the sky lighter.

Shadow needs to move left and touch the rear wheel. If you made a SBS this would be better.

Angel's image is a bit distorted. When you resize an image, do it pressing shift key, so the image doesn't distort.

You should rethink her shadow, as the light source seem to be on upper left corner according the rock(s). The shadow is a tiny bit too strong anyways. Nice colours and mood here.

It needs more work on pilar bases, they are distorted. And the whole dome seems floating on the sand, it needs shadows, since lighting source is behind.

There shouldn't be a gap underneath the reflection. SBS would be good to show how the water was made, or is it another source?

I would add some more contrast on the blue fur and on the eyes.. and also, as CMYK already said.. the arrow doesn't even try to blend..

The top of the mountain where your source is looks flat, try and add some shadows will make it look a lot better, you have a creative image.
