Interesting spin Author. You might want to consider using less of a smooth blend for the transition between skin and sand since sand is rougher. The yellow glare above and next to the nose is distracting as well. Would be cool to see human hands sticking out of the sand or perhaps real hair and beard partly transitioned.

I see it too. I guess you probably just barely got this entered in time as it is so maybe you missed it. I would have straitened the floating city so the is was more plum than it is. It just looks like it's slightly tilting.

Good color & mood, but there's a horizontal line in the shaded area of the rocks, and the buildings look transparent.

If they are supposed to be behind the curtain, I think you could lower the opacity of the couple and blur it slightly, to match the curtain shadow.

Try using the smudge tool with a 2px, and drag the edges of the grass out...so it looks more natural GL

the skulls look too ummm ... mushed together.. you should give them some defintition

If you allow the blades of grass and flowers to fall over the edge it will help this...great idea and nice image. In other words...the grass is too perfect an edge on either side inside the room.
