(5 years and 526 days ago)The light is obviously meant to be dim but the right side of the elephant is still brighter than the left side near the candle. It should be the opposite way around in my opinion since the candle is still the light source in the dim shrine.
(5 years and 526 days ago)A blessing to go shopping? Does he give you money to spend too?
(5 years and 527 days ago)I think it needs a bit more light on the candle side of the elephant.
You are right about that but not all graphic artists are also photographers so some are forced to do the hard yards to find free resources and manipulate them to suit.
(5 years and 527 days ago)I love your sunset photo by the way.
Good luck in the contest.
A fun chop and great use of your own photos. You went to a lot of trouble to photograph that light in the bag. Lucky it didn't start burning.
(5 years and 528 days ago)Congratulations George. Well Done.
(5 years and 533 days ago)Congratulations on second place.
(5 years and 533 days ago)Congratulations. Very nice work.
(5 years and 533 days ago)A good illusion but a couple of touch ups are needed.....On the right beside her legs are a couple of stray paint spots and just under the frame on the same side, it looks like you accidentally cloned part of the frame onto the ground.
(5 years and 533 days ago)It's a lovely piece of work but I don't think you are allowed to use the background flower because it is an illustration.
(5 years and 537 days ago)Please see rule 5.6 on http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
Congratulations.
(5 years and 540 days ago)Congratulations BWR
(5 years and 540 days ago)Congratulations George.
(5 years and 540 days ago)Congratulations Lolu.
(5 years and 540 days ago)Congratulations.
(5 years and 540 days ago)The cut in half statue doesn't work for me at all. I think the scene would look much better without it.
(5 years and 542 days ago)A very impressive bubble.
(5 years and 544 days ago)It would make a great base for creating an alien in photoshop.
Good idea but the crack source has not been masked out properly. I still see thin horizontal and vertical edges which appear to be the outside framing edges of the source. They need fixing.
(5 years and 546 days ago)Congratulations.

(5 years and 547 days ago)Congratulations on the win.
(5 years and 547 days ago)Looks like you had a lot of fun warping. It is time consuming work. Did you feel like you were in a time warp?
(5 years and 550 days ago)Congratulations.
(5 years and 560 days ago)Congratulations. A well deserved win.
(5 years and 560 days ago)Really cute.
(5 years and 563 days ago)I see a straight horizontal line which needs cloning out on the shell under the baby.
Great work.
(5 years and 564 days ago)Congratulations.
(5 years and 567 days ago)Congratulations. You are doing great.

(5 years and 568 days ago)Nicely done but I agree with CMYK about the handle being too shiny.
(5 years and 569 days ago)I like the scratched text effect in the wood. Well done.
Hilarious.
(5 years and 572 days ago)Excellent work.
(5 years and 572 days ago)Beautiful work. My favourite so far.
(5 years and 575 days ago)It's a very pretty portrait but nothing looks like it has been shattered, exploded, blown up or disintegrated. It just looks like pretty bubbles and flowers floating around her face.
(5 years and 577 days ago)The cog wheels are illustrations and not allowed. I suggest you replace them or the entry could be pulled from the contest.
(5 years and 578 days ago)Your comments thoroughly amused me. I am amazed at what some people actually eat. The bugs sound disgusting. Have you ever eaten any of them? I can't even imagine eating those things. They look too much like cockroaches to me.
(5 years and 579 days ago)The portrait is very modern but not 17th century style at all. I also know you can do a lot better with cutting out the frame. It has a lot of stray pixels on the inside edge which need cleaning up. I suggest you use the pen tool to make a nice straight line selection, feather it by 1 pixel, and then cut it out.
(5 years and 580 days ago)The work is good. The oil paint filter looks great on the hair and sack but I think it needs masking out on the skin unless you like the swirly texture effect on the skin? I would do another layer and change the oil paint settings to make the skin smoother. You can do that by turning the shine all the way to 0 and turn the cleanliness up. Then mask out everything except the skin. That way you get different oil paint effects on different parts of the portrait. However, in the end, you need to make it the way you like it.
(5 years and 581 days ago)Cute and sounds yummy.
(5 years and 584 days ago)Congratulations Lolu. Well done.
