Congratulations BWR. A well deserved win with a very unique entry.
(5 years and 616 days ago)A cutie.
(5 years and 625 days ago)You can get rid of the dark line on top of the dandelion by using the dodge brush set to dodge shadows or you could use the "blend if" option.
It's amusing for sure, but the teeth appear to be stuck on the bottom lip instead of protruding from under the top lip. A bit of tweeking needed in that area.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Great work. Very nice color blending and matching.
(5 years and 626 days ago)A small nit pick for improvement... There is just a small green smudge on the top right and a small purple spot in the hairline just above the nose which need to be fixed unless you particularly want them that color?
Lots of intricate detail work has gone into this. Well done.
(5 years and 643 days ago)Congratulations on 2nd.
(5 years and 669 days ago)Congratulations BWR. Excellent work.
(5 years and 669 days ago)Congratulations on 3rd as well.
(5 years and 669 days ago)Congratulations Sylvie. Nicely done.
(5 years and 669 days ago)Yep
(5 years and 672 days ago)Brilliant!
(5 years and 672 days ago)Just a tiny nit pick.... There is a triangular light spot on the right hand thumb which needs cloning out.
Very nice 3D work.
(5 years and 673 days ago)Congrats on third but in my opinion it should have come first.
(5 years and 676 days ago)Congratulations. Well done.
(5 years and 676 days ago)Scary !
(5 years and 676 days ago)Stunning. Beautiful work.
(5 years and 676 days ago)Looks much better.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Here is a great video tip to show you how to easily remove the color fringing.

As still says, halo effect can still be seen on the black and white photo. The only way I have found to get rid of that is by cloning the sky back over the halo. It is done on a new layer on darken mode.

The old chapel is a beautiful building but the photo has chromatic aberation which needs fixing.
(5 years and 680 days ago)Awwww... Totally Adorable.
(5 years and 680 days ago)The original poster has the person silhouetted as well as the animal. Maybe you should make the woman into a silhouette too?
(5 years and 680 days ago)Beautifully done.
(5 years and 681 days ago)Interesting idea.
(5 years and 681 days ago)The floor perspective and table top perspective are different. If you make the floor board lines the same as the angles of the sides of the table top, that should fix it.
The snake plant is scary. I wouldn't like to have one of those in any room.
(5 years and 681 days ago)The female legs on the table and owl peeking through the drawer are a "hoot"
A bit scary but amusing.
(5 years and 681 days ago)Congratulations Sandrine and welcome to Pxleyes. I have been away so I just looked at your portfolio. You do some lovely work. Keep it up.
(5 years and 683 days ago)Congratulations BWR.
(5 years and 683 days ago)Not sure how you came second when we both have exactly the same scores. Looks like equal first to me.
Congratulations BWR.
(5 years and 683 days ago)Congratulations George.
(5 years and 683 days ago)I like the mail box one the best out of your two versions.
(5 years and 684 days ago)That depends on how you define a chimera. In Greek mythology, the Chimera was an awesome fire-breathing monster with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a serpent.
(5 years and 686 days ago)The beak and eye are blended well....but....is the snake supposed to be the tail of the creature? If so, it needs to be blended better because to me it looks like the snake is not part of the creature but just another animal behind it.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Nice filter and effect work.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Did you smudge him into the background on purpose?
(5 years and 686 days ago)In my personal opinion I think it would look better if he was not smudged into the background. I would have just done the smudge painting on the face layer and only slightly blurred the background layer to give some contrast between the model and the background but obviously you are the artist and the final decision is yours.
The man has a very kind looking face and does look like he would make a great Santa.
Keep up your good work.
Very nicely done.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Dear author, the clear water image looks the most realistic and is actually my favorite out of your three versions but as you say, everyone sees things differently and each person has their own preference. None of us can please everyone all the time.
(5 years and 687 days ago)Your work is excellent regardless of the color of the water.
Very pretty.
(5 years and 688 days ago)Beautiful
(5 years and 689 days ago)Much better.
(5 years and 689 days ago)I like your sense of humour.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Thanks Sylvie.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Good work.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Nicely done.
(5 years and 690 days ago)She is very well camouflaged in all that ice and snow.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Congratulations on the win. Superb work.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Congratulations on 2nd and 3rd Sylvie. Nicely done.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Great idea and good work but I think the shadow of the blades on the wood should have been blurred with the same motion blur as the moving blades.
(5 years and 690 days ago)A lot of work obviously went into this. You did a beautiful job.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Congratulations on 2nd place. Great work.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Congratulations on the win. Excellent work.
