Author did you have a source for the centre pin that the clock hands are on?

@gosseyn- It's not unusual to have a similar idea as another member. The island on an animal's back has been done many times so it's understandable that others would think along those lines. It's only when an image is particularly unique that another similar entry might be considered a copy of that image. I entered an image of a clown with a puppet of himself (http://www.pxleyes.com/photoshop-picture/4a723bdc98f1e/Confronting-His-Alter-Ego.html) which has been done many times before yet one member commented as though I "borrowed" someone's idea which was just another members version of the popular theme. It's up to you but even this author encourages you to enter your idea as well.

An admirable effort that would be improved by use of the perspective tool, and choosing a light source so as to properly shade the planes on the crates. The boards should be given thickness.

Perhaps I would desaturate the green of the trees a bit, and maybe also apply an artistic filter to them. Also maybe try to make the trees look like it's autumn, or add a little bit of color that would match the color of the sky, or a color that would extend the color of the frog. I like the color of the grass because I feel it matches the rest, it looks like it has been burnt by sunlight..

I like this. I had a similar idea some days ago while contemplating the frog, but now I'll have to find another idea because of you ! . I just have one problem with the trees : they look photorealistic while the rest doesn't (frog and sea).

Love the detail, the shadow effect, the fact the mod. helped you. What a great site. I also like your border addition as it ties up the whole into a nice enlightened package.

With that strong light source in the background the the edges of the walls nearest us would be in shadow, and there would be a corresponding shadow of the little monk, again on the side nearest us. Always consider light and shadow when making a composite image with a strong light source.

Oh this is so artistic and magical. When you do your filter forge steps do you have to do one layer, apply, then go out and then go back in to do the next step? I have to go out, then restart FF and try the next effect. Thank you for your time.

Very nice! When I look at your SBS, I notice that you have many filters I don't have, such as "Angel wash, Button images, Abstract watercolor, Chaotic crazy paint, Artomatic"... Have you downloaded these filters separately?

There is a time and place to break rules and you can break them when you understand them. A bit more of a crop, would hold the focal area larger for the the viewer and engage us more. "Suum cuique pulchrum est" - to each his own.

Hi, I don't want to be that guy but... I think you can't use this dragon, it seems to me that it's taken from the tv show and unless you own the rights, you can't use it. Other problems are it is CGI and also you aren't the one who did the cropping around the dragon.. Unless you are that deviant art user ?

I really like the humour of this photograph. It is well taken and clear with good contrast and marginal space showing. It may be a more effective presentation if you nipped off , just a bit, on our left side. Very lovely entry to study. Thank.
