The idea is quite good. The best way to do this would be to use a displacement map after overlaying the texture at a 45 degree angle. Try following Eladine's displacement map tutorial, that should help.

The new face should have been rotated just a little more as they aren't in the same spot. Also in high res you can still clearly see her (old) right eye and part of the mouth.

You could add one of the rocks back to the background, as it is now using the grass is minimal use of source.

Nice work author. The goggles/specs could have done with some noise and then blur to marry them with the other source as now they are far too sharp.

Although the image is well done, I believe the use of source is very poor. This could have been made with anything and the source is not recognizable in any way. These type of entries belong in theme contests, not source contests.

Lovely work. Next time when you add texture to a face like that, make sure you follow the contours with some warp. The texture shouldn't go over the mouth like that. Nice result anyway.

Great idea. Work on the edges of the horse to make it even better. Look up a fur masking tutorial to help you if needed.
