The blur seems a little overdone, I understand you are trying to create a depth of field but in my opinion it is too much. Also try matching your shadow to the one on her neck, yours is much darker.

Pity that you chopped the top off it, otherwise it's quite nice.

You need to get rid of the signature, they aren't allowed in the contests.

You might want to correct the background directly behind the meerkat on the left side.
Can you also explain how the spiderman effect was done, has another source been used?

Author, I think it should be "poppy". A puppy is a young dog.

The reflection looks odd as if the "thing" is floating. You should also see the reflection of the forth foot if that was the case. Possibly flipping the lion's head would make it look more natural too IMO.

Your shadows could do with being blurred a bit. Also the use of a grounding shadow (a darker shadow right at the base) would help a bit.

This is nicely done, the girl is very well created. The dark patch on the cross in the centre is a little distracting and could easily be tweeked with some cloning.
