I have to agree with r1k3r. The entry is well within the rules and is clearly explained in the SBS. The author has made a nice entry that fits clearly within the guidelines as they stand. Why bring this up on this particular entry when we seen half a dozen each week using 3D models, mostly from one particular author where nobody ever mentions anything about his 3D usage. Anyway as said before, nice entry author.

It would look better if the colors of the statues matched. Just use an adjustment layer on the given source image, either Hue/Saturation or Color Balance should do it.

Nicely done. One suggestion would be to make the dripping more random, it looks too uniformed at the moment.

Maybe you could look at the paving also, the perspective is wrong as they look like they are similar to the wall instead of being at right angles to it.

Nice entry author. One little nitpick, the sherrif's badge is now on the wrong side. They always wore the badge over their heart. See if you can cut/paste it to the other side.

I'm not that good with photography but this looks photoshopped to me (something I am more familiar with). The lens flare, vignette and the DOF look like they have been manipulated. The lack of a High Res doesn't help either way.

Try and obtain larger stock images in the future. This is too small to evaluate your work properly. The link "Resources" gives great sites for free stock of larger size.

Next time you should thank Photoshop Top Secrets since your entry is based on one of their tutorials (Flying Out Of Bounds). The Rules & Guidelines state that you should link to the tutorial, but since it is only available on DVD then you should at least credit it.

Author both your sources link to the hole image. Please change the second one to the donkey.

The guy sitting looks like he is floating. You need to ground him with a shadow.

Author, once you put the image in your PSD file it becomes a source. A reference is when you just look at something. Nice result though.

You still have an issue with those birds as that image requires to be purchased to be used. You need to search for a free stock image. Very nicely done. You may want to look at the bird source though, it appears to be copyright. Change that and you will have a very nice entry that will remain in the contest. It would be a pity to see it eliminated.

Speaking as an ex mod of the site (well the photoshop section anyway), there is no way that this entry should be removed. The Contest Goal asked for "The many different shapes, sizes and colors of grass can be found almost anywhere" and this is one of them. It is clearly on topic and not offensive in any way. If this has received multiple red flags then "all" the moderators should be asked their opinion and not just left to the mod doing the contest. It should also be put to the administration and I would be surprised if he said to remove it for being Off Topic. I'm not saying I approve of any drugs, this has nothing to do with that whatsoever. This is an entry that follows the theme and should remain. Otherwise it's another sad day at Pxleyes. Good luck author.

Nicely done, especially matching the lighting. The only issue that you have is that the Flickr image is copyright (never trust everystockphoto).
