You posted the sources incorrectly. The url goes in the top box, the description or title of the source goes in the bottom box marked "anchor text".

The urls you show indicate Source 1 is from a blog and unacceptable. Source 2 is from a wallpaper site and unacceptable. Source 3 is from DA/Photography not stock and is copyrighted.

You do have to show links for all sources used. If the smoke brushes are from the site you indicated the link should be http://www.brushfx.co.uk/tag/smoke/ since it's the only smoke brush set shown on that site. If this is correct replace the link in your entry.

If the texture of the tree shown in your SBS is from a disk you should show a screen shot of the publishers statement and preferably the title of the texture from the information on the disk. As it happens the texture is available elsewhere and can be found here: http://www.freepik.com/free-photo/wood-texture--gray_611189.htm This link should be acceptable since it is the exact same image.

Correct your entry as soon as possible to avoid receiving a warning. Double check that you've shown all sources with the correct links.

You've done a great job improving your entry! Listening to helpful advice from these good members will make you a better artist. No matter what the outcome of the contest you should be proud of what you've done and your willingness to accept advice has earned you my respect.

Author you should understand that historically PS contests were meant to be chops created with 2D graphics programs. As Pxleyes developed along with the CG programs 3D was allowed to be a part of the generic "Photoshop" term used to categorize these contests. The comment made by CMYK46 is polite and states that it is his opinion. That opinion is shared by many long time members, myself included and we are entitled to that opinion. I also like your entry and gave you a fair vote but I much prefer seeing skillful 2D manipulation over the use of 3D images in PS contests.

I look forward to seeing the revised version! Full color would set off the gold nicely. Check out some gold statues on Google Image Search to help you out.

I much prefer the full figure cropping as in step 10 in your SBS. It's a much better composition than what you have now although I would desaturate the sepia tone it's a bit too strong IMHO. I like the base you created but the statue is monochromatic and doesn't match. Having a background that is also monochromatic but in blue doesn't work too well I feel. A normal full color piece would work better IMO. Be cautious over doing filter work, you may not need as much as you have used.

I love the rich quality of the color giving strong substance to the piece! Nicely done!

You didn't create this as you claim in your SBS you just took the image RickLaMesa mentioned traced it and then blurred the photo slightly. You didn't draw the spring either it's a photograph. Attempting to deceive members will only get you banned. Honest members have no respect for cheating.
