(5 years and 3475 days ago)I agree it's a well made image but the violin is only incidental to the composition. If there's a significant reason for using the violin I don't see it. It is mentioned in the rules and guidelines "In a source contest it's mandatory to use the provided source image in your entry. Not only use it, but also manipulate it in some way...". It's more impressive when the source is used to create a unique entry based on the image provided.
(5 years and 3477 days ago)EDIT: @ cabldawg, The first thing I said is that it's a well made image and the story you suggest works for me as well. By significance I mean how important is the source in relation to the creation of the whole image. What's the point of a source contest if you only have to cut it out and paste it on another image even if it's a good image?
