(5 years and 3899 days ago)I really like this idea! I agree with Akassa about the fur. Try this technique: http://www.pxleyes.com/tutorial/photoshop/1253/How-To-Make-Puss-in-Boots.html. This tutorial by Eladine shows how to work the fur edges. The bear is a little hard lit compared to the general lighting of the background and woman. Maybe try to soften the contrast a bit. Still a good image, made me smile!

(5 years and 3902 days ago)I don't think this shows the unique qualities of the source image. It could have been made from most any image. The idea is good maybe bring back the color from the source or some part of the source incorporated with the sub. It is a dramatic angle which I like. I can't remember a submarine with portholes either, at least no military subs so I assume this is your own design which is fine.

(5 years and 3902 days ago)I don't think there's a problem using the old PST sources unless I'm told otherwise they should be okay. I liked your entry the first time I saw it and I think it fits this contest just fine. Just don't ask me to water your flowers!
