The use of 3D wireframes or mesh has always been allowed. The author did not use 3D renders but rendered them using the wireframes to create the final image as is shown in the SBS.

If you use a 3D program to create a model or render (eg. with Poser), post a screenshot of the wireframe, so we can verify it's not someone else's work.

When using the transform tool to resize an image hold down the shift key to maintain the proportions of the image. The figures in your entry are distorted because you didn't do that.

Check your masking work, there's some obvious garbage on the right and an oval shape in the center.

I like this better! I think it gives more depth with the bee obviously closer to the observer.

Looking at the bee in Hi-res some of the branches are partially transparent. I'm not sure if you wanted the bee to be inside the tree, would be easier if he was in front of the tree obscuring all of the branches. Still a fun chop, I can tell you had a good time creating this!

When you use DeviantArt stock you have to check that the image isn't a Photoshop manipulation or an illustration. Usually if the description says "premade" it's been created by the DeviantArt author and can't be used in a Pxleyes contest.

I also suggest that when you fix your entry you remove the shadows on the fish and turtle, there wouldn't be shadows when they're swimming in the water.

I think you mean you made the edges less soft which is what I suggested. Looks perfect now!

Very nicely done and original thinking! Little dragon fits in well with the other sculptures. My only critique is that the edge where the sand meets the little dragon might be a little soft. If you look at the sculpture in the foreground the edges there are more distinct. Just a minor point, personally this is the entry I like most.

Drivenslush is quite right, you have plenty of time to improve your entry no reason to wait for the next contest. A shadow will make a big difference in your entry and they aren't hard to make. You can see from the car the shadow would be directly under the tractor, simple to do just give it a try.
