Hmmm somewhere in Europe, let me guess Bucharest or Budapest or Rome...I'm sure I was here. Too bad everyone is looking away but it sure is colourful and has that festive feel to the image.
(5 years and 376 days ago)Wow , well done. Sharp enough with considered cropping leaving them plenty of room to fly into!
(5 years and 376 days ago)Very American, colourful, well shot.
(5 years and 376 days ago)Good and fast shutter speed to be able to catch this so sharply. If you have another you could post it to stop action contest too! I like the angle (crop) of this post.
(5 years and 376 days ago)Whooooaaaa now this is a shot worth capturing.
(5 years and 376 days ago)I have a secret to share with you. I dream and hope that my husband and I will die together in an airplane crash. Oftentimes I will tell friends that as we approach "the golden years" we will look for airplanes that do not instill confidence and I always say "WE will fly, Buddha Air....also in the list are included Air Azerbaizhan or Aeroflot (Russian)...and on and on. I had a great chuckle with your post. It is a clean cut photograph and surely did get an emotive response from this viewer.
(5 years and 376 days ago)I do not have a stove. Life is tough ummmm no, why am I saying that?
(5 years and 380 days ago)The recipe says to leave them out on the rack to dry for 24 hours. If I did that in this country within 3 minutes the fruit would be covered by ants, flies, and geckos. Impossible! I can get dried sugared mango, papaya and ginger (which I put in husband's oatmeal).
(5 years and 380 days ago)Oranges are so expensive over here, but when it comes to good food...WHO CARES. Thank you.
(5 years and 380 days ago)Looks like avmurray from aFAR! ha....good one!
(5 years and 380 days ago)I enjoy your photography very much, find it inspirational and something I can learn from....so THANK YOU!
(5 years and 380 days ago)I was just looking at a honeycomb at the grocery store two days ago and thought of buying it just for this contest. I like this upload with it being filled in the whole frame. The colours are natural and not overcooked.
(5 years and 380 days ago)Do you know how to check to see if your honey is natural/pure or has been cut (they cut it in China, Malaysia, Thailand etc.). Take a few drops of honey, place in bowl and add water to dissolve it. What happens is miraculous. If it is real honey you will see it dissolve but then the hexagonal design comes out...it is as if the honey has a memory of the hive. I know this has nothing to do with photography, sorry!....just a bit of trivia for you.
Did you make these, if so please send me the recipe! Oh, they are good I know. I like the tight crop and sharpness of this image and the slimy sticky feel to it too!
(5 years and 380 days ago)I am smiling for I can see you taking this shot....we have all stood under such magnificence and have tried to accomplish the same as you have. I like that the exposure is smack on the money and tightly cropped as you managed just pulls us in like a moth to fire. Lovely.
(5 years and 381 days ago)When I first saw this LARGE it caught my breath with not only the detail but the textural quality to it. A fine upload. The horizontal placement of lines gives this stability yet the title (which DOES MATTER) shakes us up a bit for when we think of 'diseases' we do not automatically assume such solidity as you have depicted. What is this a close up of? Really nice.
(5 years and 381 days ago)You are following the KISS principle and I like the natural feel to this unpretentious shot! Have you tried increasing the contrast a bit more to deepen the light to dark?
(5 years and 381 days ago)I like how the buds are jumping out towards us, beckoning our attention (and getting it) and behind the in focus buds are the back up singers supporting them. Nice....I read somewhere that green was the favourite colour of Jefferson (critical for you to know this...huh?) Green is the most soothing colour for the eye, ophthalmologically speaking.
(5 years and 381 days ago)I like how you have included a catch point for the eye amidst these nets. Also the colour palette is very appealing with colour coordinated hues all complimenting each other.
(5 years and 381 days ago)Nice depth and looks great in full frame.but diaphanous it is not as it is not see through.....the colour palette is very soothing.
(5 years and 381 days ago)Where was this taken and it has a nice emotive feel to it? It is soft and that is quite OK for my eyes for it adds to the mystery and the emotive feel.
(5 years and 381 days ago)I am quite enamored with this kind of post for it shows us beauty in the mundane, in rust, it takes on an abstract artistic format that tickles my fancy, and of course RED...is hot hot hot and so is your upload! Nice.
(5 years and 381 days ago)Those leaves add more substance to this image as does the raindrops which cover and make them look luscious.
(5 years and 382 days ago)Looks like sausages at first. Lobsters on ice, very nice.
(5 years and 382 days ago)Grabs the eye and well aligned! Nice.
(5 years and 382 days ago)This is a good one, very sharp with good natural light and the patterns are most enjoyable.
(5 years and 383 days ago)Well done, and I do believe I've seen this technique before and it is inspirational.
(5 years and 383 days ago)Yes, that feeling of rush has been conveyed nicely....and how serendipitous that her bag says "DASH".
(5 years and 385 days ago)I really like the maroon colour coordination on this upload, give the photo a cohesive warm feel.
(5 years and 386 days ago)...but were they rescued? Then what? I now know who to call when I need advice on brushes and how to use them. Your work is very inspirational but you do know how I feel about your stuff so I will shut up right now.
(5 years and 386 days ago)OK, that explains it. I am only now getting into Marvel (films) not that I've just been born, have been around for years but on a different planet. Thanks.
(5 years and 386 days ago)He's actually sweet looking in a dopey kinda way.
(5 years and 386 days ago)...for me, it is very impressive, thank YOU.
(5 years and 386 days ago)again.....You have given me a morning chuckle...so silly it is good!
(5 years and 386 days ago)Good grief, what drugs are you on...this is so funny, I love it and you have a wild imagination.
(5 years and 386 days ago)This is so corny that it is good I like it in b/w
(5 years and 386 days ago)creative + + + + + well done.
(5 years and 386 days ago)Well done and doesn't even look pasted on.
(5 years and 386 days ago)Wow...looks like a lot of work. I like it very much.
(5 years and 386 days ago)Creative and well done.
(5 years and 386 days ago)Ingenious +++++
(5 years and 386 days ago)Really great post, thank you.
(5 years and 386 days ago)I will need to investigate this further with a few British friends I have although it was my British female friend who mentioned that women add milk and men don't.
(5 years and 388 days ago)I like the dof you used. Have you noticed that men drink their tea clear and women add milk...or is that just me? This is a very comfortable photograph.
(5 years and 388 days ago)Festive, clean nicely set up...yes, I would like a cup.
(5 years and 388 days ago)I would stop by here with this welcoming sign. We had high tea at the old British consulate awhile back what a great big to do, it was fun.
(5 years and 388 days ago)This one should have done better. It is a good photo Sylive.
(5 years and 389 days ago)Boom boom swish swish chirp chirp.
(5 years and 389 days ago)Viewed in high resolution and it is perrrrrrrfect. REally nice and sharp with good visualization of boats down below...and a great place to hike.
(5 years and 389 days ago)I viewed this in high resolution to get the full effect...what a lovely scene. You do have a significant amount of noise on this image. This is a very gorgeous find...good photographer's eyes!
(5 years and 389 days ago)I wonder if anyone will comment on the tilt, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I too tilt images as this out of the box thinking helps to propel ordinary into another realm. We can feel the speed of your daughter's shopping spree and the joy and freedom of being able to purchase with aplomb goods that many in this world could never dream of purchasing.
