HOLY GUACAMOLE 14 stops, no wonder you get that HDR feel! What are you shooting with?
(5 years and 484 days ago)Good on you to get behind the performer to catch her behind. She is not impressing the crowd very much is she? Your POV is amusing for us viewers and the blase faces of the crowd make us wonder and have pity on this performer. I like your upload, it is unique and comical.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I know all about "drafted against his will"....I have a husband who gets drafted all the time
(5 years and 484 days ago)A summer day and a crowd with their backs turned to us? Technically sharp, frame filled and in spite of the fact that it is a strong light situation you don't have any hot spots.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I remember a time when "gay" meant happy. A gay photograph, showing good tonal ranges, sharp and clear. A very large crowd on parade. Where was this taken?
(5 years and 484 days ago)I think this photo, viewed in 100 years will tell a lot about our society. It is educational and tells a story of the sorry state of affairs with society...whether at a hot spot game area or as we travel we see this scene repeating itself everywhere, people no longer talk to each other. Good entry. You have a dust spot on your sensor, it's in the sky, midsection.
(5 years and 484 days ago)The horizon line tilts to the Left. If you doubt this just scroll your photo to the hard line of the computer screen and it will become evident to you....I think.
(5 years and 484 days ago)The dynamic range sure looks vast, what did you use, the vivid button on your camera perchance?
(5 years and 484 days ago)Enjoyable feel to this one, end of the day and you left something at the very end to pique our interest. Nicely composed.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I would know your work anywhere from the POV. I agree with photonut's observation that had you included the entire "reflection" of the man it would have been stronger and also it is too bad that the dog is walking away as that takes our eye away from the main focal point. The technical e.ements are really well done.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I like your HDR processing in this parade photograph, also the fact that the banners show a person blowing his horn helps to add humour to this shot.
(5 years and 484 days ago)Clear and sharp with all photographic information in place and good marginal space all around. Rich in colour, good technique demonstrated. A very agreeable image.
(5 years and 484 days ago)A bit of a different take on the rule of threes and it works! Your title also helps to steer us in the right direction as does your vantage point.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I really like the artistic bend to this one and the one third rule applied vertically. Nice
(5 years and 484 days ago)It is your creative and playful mind that shines through this professional looking upload. Your SBS is clear, the title further enhances the joy of the view. I'm looking for realistic blending, telltale lines that give away your process and I see nothing. This, along with your other chops and uploads is simply bamboozling to my mind! Top of the shelf!
(5 years and 484 days ago)Love that surreal feel, otherworldly! The dragonfly pulls on my eye. Your blending is also well done and although surreal it looks real !
(5 years and 484 days ago)Nice story here, captures the eye and we study this image longer...with a smile on our faces!
(5 years and 484 days ago)A happy snappy picture. BOO
(5 years and 484 days ago)I like the artistic bend to this upload, the grunge adds texture to the mystery and your title ties this into a great little package for the viewer.
(5 years and 484 days ago)Well done, like this one a lot. This image has emotive power and we get absorbed by the determined face of this young man.
(5 years and 484 days ago)Clearly rule of three evident. There is a slight tilt of the horizon line to the L giving a sense of imbalance.
(5 years and 484 days ago)Why did you nip off a good piece of the van. I like the blue colour but the blue hue is throughout the entire image
(5 years and 484 days ago)A happy snappy photo. You saw, you shot! Technical elements well done especially since this was a bright day, sharp on the focal points and colour is natural.
(5 years and 486 days ago)I like this shot showing the vulnerability of the fragile world around us, yet so peaceful and magical. Technically a well-constructed photograph. Nice.
(5 years and 486 days ago)A sweet cooling photo, good connection between subject and photographer.
(5 years and 486 days ago)Looks like fun with a tilt of the horizon line and a faster shutter speed would have made the image sharper. Good colour and a pleasant story to boot!
(5 years and 486 days ago)"Hope this helps."
(5 years and 487 days ago)Hey, do bears fart in the forest?
YOU BETTER BELIEVE THIS HELPS. Thank you so much. I have faved this and will have it in my files to refer to, thank you again for your talent and generous heart.
Hi, I just looked again and look behind Luigy. You can see the free transform lines behind him, you might want to take them out....they are on Luigi's right.
(5 years and 487 days ago)I tend to "gush" when a photo touches me. I gush a lot on the photoshopped side of pxyleyes.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Where is the vendor? This is a nice, colourful image. Can a popcorn sign be called a vender/vendor as I thought it had to be a person who sells goods. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.
(5 years and 488 days ago)An eye catcher using great dof that brings a smile to my face. Like the humour of this post.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Sky, smooth as butter, sharpness on focal pop in the grid line and the colour palette cool and comforting. Couldn't be any better if you tried!
(5 years and 488 days ago)Lovely capturing the reflection too.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Sapid, you bet with good focus on what is exposed and enough darkness to make it ....make it....hmmmm....make it mysterious and romantic.
(5 years and 488 days ago)I like this as the Mario's don't look pasted on (something I have difficulties with). Your post is simple but strong.
(5 years and 488 days ago)A question: How do you make your work look like it is NOT PASTED ON. When I do PS my stuff looks pasted on. Thanks
(5 years and 488 days ago)Sigh, I have just spent the last 10 minutes reading and thinking about your SBS, simply mind-boggling and the end result is just incredible. I have recently been educated by a master chop and photoshop manipulator on some of the finer things to look for when reviewing work on this side of pxyleyes. Your shadows are realistic, your blending is splendid your SBS is educational and dear author, you get high points from me. THANK YOU for being here.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Purrrrfect in every way, good crop, fast shutter speed, nice colour...top of the shelf work here.... a strong entry!
(5 years and 488 days ago)A happy snappy photograph, love her hands.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Cute as a button and I was looking for you in the reflection of her glasses...next time ay!
(5 years and 488 days ago)Nice moody photograph but you do have some noise which could be eliminated with the de-noise button. Please double check to make certain there is no lean to the left. Nice tonal ranges and lead lines.
(5 years and 489 days ago)It's gone...........you are welcome.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Yup, we noticed....
(5 years and 489 days ago)It is difficult to see the main focal point. Did you know that the natural pathway of the eye is to gravitate to the brightest pop on the "canvas". Did you mean for eyes to go tot he doorway? In the old days, photographers used to turn their photographs upside down to study where the point was to where the eye gravitated to on their photographs...then they knew what the focal point was. With your image the eye goes directly to the bright door (and out). You are very lucky to have been invited into this Berber home which does look very rustic.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Win some lose some
(5 years and 489 days ago)The expression caught on that old fellow and the woman behind him makes me think that they must be speeding directly into ________ ! Clear image, well exposed with dof used to bring focus on the car and occupants.
(5 years and 489 days ago)You do have some clipping (block up) at the lower right of this shot (viewer's right). Using the shadow/highlight slider could bring out some detail perhaps. A tighter crop eliminating the line at the right would strengthen this shot. I love the warm feel in hues of browns and oranges gives the viewer an engaging feel.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Hi, you have a fine white line at the upper aspect of this shot, (viewer's) Lside going on a diagonal to his head. Those may be considered dead pixels which you can remove, or you could darken it through level manipulation but it will affect the whole shot.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Hi, wasn't this a fun contest and congrats on this win....it made me laugh out loud!
