This one rocked big congrats!
(5 years and 534 days ago)I liked this one a lot, congrats.
(5 years and 534 days ago)Congrats to you !
(5 years and 534 days ago)I liked this one too Congrats.
(5 years and 534 days ago)Nice one, congrats!
(5 years and 534 days ago)Congrats, nice win !
(5 years and 534 days ago)Yes, I so agree with you.
(5 years and 534 days ago)A train station! Ha, you lucky girl to be able to capture this, it is still on my 'to do' list before I hit the graveyard.
(5 years and 534 days ago)THANK YOU A SQUIGILLION TIMES for your description. Your photo is educational and well caught. I was told that you were not allowed to photograph this spiritual practice. How did you manage this? I like the balance of dancers and then in the background how 'the band' steadies the image visually. Also, the bit of blur (movement) is simply perfect, wouldn't want it any other way. Great upload.
(5 years and 534 days ago)Gosh I love these kind of graveyards. In the west, only a few stones are so engraved with a portrait. I see Bohdan left his wife in widowhood 9 years ago and she is already 71 (getting there). It is nice to see the crosses (not orthodox). The photo is clear and chock a block full of story that we can easily see.
(5 years and 534 days ago)Ahhh, what a place to visit, thank you. You have over contrasted this and you can clearly see black "clipping" or "black outs" in the trees. (it's the opposite of blowouts) You could take your highlights/shadow lever and muck around a bit to see if you could bring out some detail. This was taken on a very bright day and your exposure was difficult. It is a nice photograph and would do well in a magazine
(5 years and 534 days ago)I just viewed your image in high res and was blown over at the artistry of your upload. I quite like that "witnessing" effect you have included. This image whispers to me that there are secrets hidden within. I like the compositional style as well that solid stone to our right and the tree, (full of life) hugging (framing) the distant stones. I also like the tonality of this shot...black to white and much in between. Top of the shelf work both technically and artistically.
(5 years and 535 days ago)I am drawn to the nice dappled effect to this photograph, that play of light and shadow makes it more intriguing. Nice clear upload, sharp and well exposed in difficult lighting conditions! What a bitch we have to die...huh?
(5 years and 535 days ago)A very strong grey bias to this image. Crop is good and pov focuses on the graveyard, nice and sharp too. What a wonderful place to be able to roam around in...full of history I'm guessing.
(5 years and 535 days ago)I like this one for it has a feel of cold, blue...and death! Your contrast is strong, you do have some dust spots in the sky (the bane of all photographers). The photo is sharp, a considered composition is evident and overall a pleasant view, thank you. I wonder if a bit more exposure would brighten this and show the snow as white versus blue?
(5 years and 535 days ago)We are both wrong, the correct version is तà¥à¤°à¤¿à¤•à¥‹à¤£à¤¾à¤¸à¤¨
(5 years and 535 days ago)Looks like a variation of Uttita Trikonasana pose in yoga! Like the post processing of this photo.
(5 years and 536 days ago)Energy of the dance (moment) well caught and with the inclusion of environment your photo transports us to this fiesta nicely.
(5 years and 536 days ago)Heartwarming! Looks like the mother is in the reflection, crying!
(5 years and 536 days ago)Wow, literal and metaphorical is right, alright. Good catch and I wonder what your neighbours thought of you roaming through this graveyard as the sun was going down? I like how the graveyard is awash in darkness yet the stones stand out clearly. I do think that the sky steals the thunder from the shot somewhat but the marriage of title and photo go together like a hug and a squeeze!
(5 years and 536 days ago)We photographers are all cut from the same cloth. I too always visit graveyards/cemeteries when I travel and wonder the exact same thing you do..."how was life for them?". Some of their stones give insight into the kind of people they were and how loved they were. The feeling of a huge resting place comes through by way of your composition. Fog was serendipitous, ay?!
(5 years and 536 days ago)You are so creative and go the extra mile to get it right. Your creativity knows no bounds. A bit more sharpness on the bubble I think would have punched it out more.
(5 years and 536 days ago)Thank you.
(5 years and 537 days ago)HA....great catch. I wonder if a closer crop would have worked to strengthen the shot?
(5 years and 537 days ago)Awwww now why didn't you ask him to grimace and put some emotion into the shot? Great perspective.
(5 years and 537 days ago)Love finding the man amidst the bubbles, we almost don't find him!
(5 years and 537 days ago)Looks like a true blue hunter. You do have clipping/blackout on the snout.
(5 years and 537 days ago)It's the colours, the patterns and the good focus on this board game that takes it to the to for me. Also the unobtrusive background further highlights the game. Nice one.
(5 years and 537 days ago)I agree with Lifetime Damage. The blue bleed in the eye and in around the lashes spoils the beauty of the photo. You can fix that and reupload a stronger image.
(5 years and 538 days ago)The clarity on this one is much better and the monochromatic feel suits it just fine!
(5 years and 539 days ago)Well done, a strong entry. Nice usage of dof manipulation with the focal pop really jumping out at us. Your exposure is good and your balance is solid. NICE.
(5 years and 539 days ago)Interesting smudge beneath the bug...focal points are incongruous.
(5 years and 539 days ago)A very presentable and appealing post. Would it be a stronger shot had you not amputated at the joints? Lovely and a strong contender.
(5 years and 539 days ago)ha...great catch! She looks like she is unleashing chaos on mankind!
(5 years and 540 days ago)It is nice how most all the chess pieces are in focus and our eyes gravitate to them. I do think there is a slight tilt to the right giving an unstable feel, also a bit more exposure would pop this photo and add a needed brightness. The diagonal bar at the left grabs our attention and takes away from the chess board game. The warmth of the photo is felt and we get the sense this is a treasured chess set.
(5 years and 540 days ago)I love your title! Yes, there is a dizzying feel to this upload with the king and queen sharp and diffusion all-round creating that watery feel. The colour palette is warm in hues of orange and a diagonal slant adds to the beauty of your photo. The POV is appropriate albeit ordinary.
(5 years and 540 days ago)Loved this one, congrats.
(5 years and 541 days ago)This is a winner in my eyes.
(5 years and 541 days ago)Congrats on this one photonutsky!
(5 years and 541 days ago)Yea, this is a really fun site. I enjoy it just wish more people would critique the uploaded photos. Sure would help us become better at our craft.
(5 years and 542 days ago)It should do well. There are some great entries here, don't you think?
(5 years and 542 days ago)I see....your sense of humour I will understand some day
(5 years and 542 days ago)Great minds think alike! (though fools seldom differ)
(5 years and 543 days ago)oooohhhh nice one and you got it in at the last minute. I like the colour palette.
(5 years and 543 days ago)But you really wanted a baloney sandwich right? (har har har har har)
(5 years and 543 days ago)Good luck to anyone thinking they can top this presentation. Sharp through all levels, mysterious clouds, good illumination, excellent exposure and lovely contrast. Top of the line work.
(5 years and 543 days ago)A powerful image giving us a bit more than just clouds. Rich in colour and sharp in focus.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Where is the Mc in the cloud? This feels really hot and the hard contrast adds to the harness of the photo.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Clever you to see this and shoot it.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Well, the building at the right looks right as rain and not failed at all. It could be my dicombuberation of gray matter.
