OH OH OH OH OH G R O A N.......you and photonut are cut from the same cloth. I never get his jokes and when I do, they are oh so corny....just like yours!
(5 years and 543 days ago)uh oh....you can read my mind!?
(5 years and 543 days ago)An American miner I see. A nice solid photograph, it tells a story.
(5 years and 543 days ago)OH MY, I don't think this is a failure because you capture movement so well and look at the colour palette...wow. The colours compliment red and green with yellow's excitement up on the canvas. NOPE this is not a failure ....I love it
(5 years and 543 days ago)Has a bit of a to the left slant although that building at the right is straight.
(5 years and 543 days ago)The leaves look like they are in motion giving this a breezy feel.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Ahhh the horizon line is razor straight! I like how the colours of the rainbow are the highlight of this shot.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Nice shot of rooftops with chimneys showing their presence somewhat. The sky washes out the image.
(5 years and 543 days ago)They feel guillotined but are nice and sharp against a non obtrusive background.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Rainy days bring forth great colours as it shows here. Your considered visual weight is well thought out with the rooftops weighing out the tall steeple. Your sky is clear of raindrops and this is a really vibrant and delightful shot.
(5 years and 543 days ago)You and I travel to the same places I see. Nice pov , a good sharp shot taken on a rainy day with plenty of raindrops on your lens.
(5 years and 543 days ago)I do think that a different crop would enhance this image versus the centered position. Nice sharpness on the 'bird'!...and good colour (realistic) saturation.
(5 years and 543 days ago)There is a lot of motion felt with this shot and one fish stands out as sharp. Your title is corny as heck, but we all need a little corn in our lives once in awhile. The frame is filled with lovely patterns of fish and the light top to dark bottom gives depth to the whole shot.
(5 years and 543 days ago)This looks like a load of fun...a bit blurred but there is a nice secondary echo in the background sub.
(5 years and 543 days ago)I don't really get the title at all except that the top jellyfish looks like peanut butter, as does the lower one. I like the natural colours of this and the fact that it doesn't have an overcast hue on it.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Good point of view to come down to this fish's eye level.
(5 years and 543 days ago)Wow, this is nice a sharp considering it is underwater. What a find! Did you try to play with this in high contrast monochrome perchance? I wish I could see his face as I keep looking for his eyes which no doubt are above water. Gorgeous detail on the scales.
(5 years and 544 days ago)Nice sharpness on the fish, it really jumps out at us, and the spikes coming at him add to the "adventure" feel. Your colours are natural and the upload is pleasing to the eye.
(5 years and 544 days ago)This is a nice a clear underwater scene and I like your border on this as it holds everything in for us.
(5 years and 544 days ago)Nice with the vignette around it too! A centered composition is your choice.
(5 years and 544 days ago)Yes, I like it better, don't you? Not only that the bright spot is gone but you have this little fox peering in, leaning into the photo all thanks to that nice composition you have.
(5 years and 545 days ago)I really like the abstract quality to this. I bet if you put this through a "paint" filter it would make a smack on great painting. Never mind, it makes a great photo too! I like how the twigs of the surrounding area seem to be pointing towards the jewels...and your title is great.
(5 years and 546 days ago)ewwww, this is wonderful it says "stay away from me, or else" ! Your image is sharp and clear and I like the pencil border to hold everything in for us.
(5 years and 546 days ago)Looks like a dragon in flight, in fiery flight that is. Did you try adding a bit more contrast to bring out the blackness?
(5 years and 546 days ago)I like the way you have framed this with the silhouettes of trees on either side. The eye is led to the clouds.
(5 years and 546 days ago)
(5 years and 546 days ago)I like the panoramic upload of this image and it surely shows the beauty of the clouds, their softness is well seen. You also have included a good focal anchor with the boat and the crop of land further pulls us into the image. The image is sharp and you have no dust spots on your sensor! Lovely and oozes a feeling of calm.
Awww, I like this and your title is good. See on the left side how bright his fur is ? It is the tendency of the human eye to gravitate to the brightest pop on the canvas, so our eyes go there and away from his face. I wonder if you cropped this a tad tighter and eliminated that bright spot and totally focused on his face if it would give you a stronger photograph. Between you and me and the 4 walls of this computer, I don't think this is such a terrible failure, instead, it whispers of nature's hiddend beauty.
(5 years and 546 days ago)I appreciate all the help I can get, thank you. I pressed the green button.
(5 years and 546 days ago)If I forget the green button does that mean you don't get the message that I'm talking to you?
(5 years and 546 days ago).......on the way to Cappadocia...ahh haa!
(5 years and 546 days ago)good solid shot! Is that Qantas?
(5 years and 547 days ago)I think the slant adds to the photo!
(5 years and 547 days ago)o o o o o o o o o o o ohoohoo ohhhooo goooooooood one!
(5 years and 547 days ago)Congrats to you!
(5 years and 547 days ago)WOW, I just popped over to this side of pxyleyes and found your win. I love the story it is so strong, otherworldly too and the man with the umbrella being black adds to the mystery. Just extraordinary work and so inspirational....you so deserve this win. Congratulations
(5 years and 548 days ago)I like your quote....need to write it down. Thanks.
(5 years and 549 days ago)Do you remember, years ago a painting sold for a couple of million dollars? It was an abstract and was drawn by a gorilla? Hmmm, I'm not sure where I'm going with this...I think this could sell for a few million Euros and hung proudly in some CEO's office! I like it and for some reason, it reminds me of yogurt with fruit (strawberries and blackberries) ...!
(5 years and 549 days ago)WHAT ? Where is the failure in this? I think it's great, an abstract on many dimensions.
(5 years and 549 days ago)Nice usage of dof!
(5 years and 550 days ago)Clever you....ha ha ha ha...and titles DO MATTER in gallery showings oftentimes making or breaking a sale. Love it.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Good catch to see this as it is almost monochrome with colour selection. I like it.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Very European, you image takes us to another "time" and another world ! Lovely.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Nice one and good exposure and shutter speed.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Difficult photo to catch and your clever POV makes it but somehow the flowers and clouds get lost into each other.
(5 years and 550 days ago)For me, compositionally speaking, I feel a bit more room at the left would have made for a stronger shot, but that is strictly subjective.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Hi, you have a bit of a bleed on the reds....reds do bleed when overexposed.
(5 years and 550 days ago)I never knew what duckweed was....a very green and delightful image of nature in the forest.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Solid presentation, good focus, mist captured realistically. Very lovely.
(5 years and 550 days ago)A "pretty as a picture" photograph with inclusion of foreground. Nice. I like it.
(5 years and 550 days ago)Ahhh nice emotive feel to this. Taking the path into consideration was the way to go and invites the viewer to enjoy this walk with you.
