Thank you for talking to .....wish more members would engage and discuss images, that way we could all learn. Appreciated. Please feel free to critique my images (which you don't know which are mine because it's all incognito, but never mind)....ahhhhh
(5 years and 587 days ago)I agree...why does the site even bother with soft large uploads I wonder?
(5 years and 587 days ago)....and he only has "eye" for YOU !
(5 years and 587 days ago)Nicely done. Kiss principle perfect. HEY it's YOU and nice to see you posting again.
(5 years and 587 days ago)This has an exquisite ethereal feel to it....it is not of this world. A human hand blurred in a soup of blur that is holding a sphere to show us the entry into the real world in focus. I also love the glow. Did you put a glow filter on this or is it natural ?
(5 years and 588 days ago)I like the artistry of this presentation, the side off center. The colour palette is great for yellow never looks as yellow as when placed against blue. The black background is supporting the focal points nicely and OH YES for sure it looks completely different in high res.
(5 years and 588 days ago)I like this with the inclusion of all the other participants, it looks like everyone is having fun, not only the bald fella.
(5 years and 588 days ago)This photo needs to be viewed in high res, it looks much better than this soft looking upload. It is too bad that this image doesn't communicate with the viewer.
(5 years and 588 days ago)Is this selective colour technique, it's marvelous?
(5 years and 590 days ago)Really a great upload and congrats on two and three.
(5 years and 590 days ago)BIG Congrats to you on this win. I love your imaginative prowess.

(5 years and 590 days ago)WOW and CONGRATULATIONS once again.
(5 years and 590 days ago)Congrats to you on this win
(5 years and 590 days ago)Stellar shot CONGRATUALTIONS
(5 years and 590 days ago)Good on this win, now you can go and buy them....Congratulations once again.
(5 years and 590 days ago)I liked this one and CONGRATS
(5 years and 590 days ago)I checked this one out in high res and it really looks better there. To my eyes the negative space up top is a bit much and if you bring it down just a touch lower the poppies would be more in our eyes, but that is an artistic decision. You also have a few hot spots on the leaves, sometimes you can eliminate or darken that with shadow/highlight adjuster which I think is allowed because you are affecting the entire image.
(5 years and 591 days ago)YES YES YES YES YES YES ...it looks a whole lot better in high res. Crisp, clear, sharp as a beak, natural colour saturation and great contrast makes for an appealing shot. I particularly like the popping into the frame presentation and great eye contact as well. LOVE IT.
(5 years and 591 days ago)If I throw a party I would like to invite you to it....you and your imagination are wonderful. Love this...you are a riot!
(5 years and 592 days ago)This is the kind of portrait that speaks to the viewer, actually it sings a loud song, it's poetic. Clear and crisp but the subjects are hypnotic with eyes that look similar except in different bodies. This is one photograph that when that little boy grows into a man, and the man will no longer be there, by looking at this image he will always be alive in the little boy's heart. A beautiful portraiture. Even the blurred hand adds to the scene. I have a photo of my mom and me and her hand is blurred too holding me still. That photo is framed and covered with age. Top Marks!
(5 years and 592 days ago)Give me a man with absolutely no hair
(5 years and 592 days ago)I'd rather him than someone with a lot.
I don't give a darn what others think
Cause I think bald is HOT!
To my hero, top marks for your sense of humour and photographic talent!
Creative plus plus plus plus plus. Your thumbnail gave me the heebeejeebeees.
(5 years and 593 days ago)Wouldn't want him pooping on my head. Grrrrrrrrrrreat entry.
(5 years and 593 days ago)This looks really great in high resolution. Perfect spring upload.
(5 years and 593 days ago)Hi, this doesn't look posed but spontaneous. I think the contest asks that the portrait be posed. Nevertheless, I like this shot and especially that gentleman is giving the gal a bit of a joke it seems. Why not in colour? I know it's artistic prerogative but I think, to my eyes, it would have been a more exciting photo with colour....but that is just me.
(5 years and 593 days ago)HOLY CRAP really? I thought I was paying too much for my 200 dollar glasses....and that was in Thailand.
(5 years and 594 days ago).......and I thought I was hallucinating. Yeah, don't you like it better too?
(5 years and 594 days ago)Nice upload, clean and simple and strong. Why did you nip off the side? Great exposure and clarity to this upload.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Good advice and a fun photo well done with pov.
(5 years and 594 days ago)I like this one it has a happy snappy feel to it.
(5 years and 594 days ago)2/3 and 1/3 is "old school" think I'm giving myself away. Here is more information for you http://www.mujahidurrehman.com/the-rule-of-thirds-in-photography/
(5 years and 594 days ago)Yes, your third is not a real third...but hey, I always bow to artistic prerogative.
You are right. I checked again in hi res....it is fine.
(5 years and 594 days ago)I like the low pov on this image but it is soft through all planes. Your horizontal cut is perfect giving a lot of story to the foreground which pops with colour. The earth is waking up.
(5 years and 594 days ago)It would have been so great had you put up in the description how you caught this....that way we peons could learn from you. You do have dust spots in the lightening bolt upper R...I can see three...easily taken down. Lovely upload.
(5 years and 594 days ago)WOW, a couple of hot spots but it is still OH WOW and I love your composition on this keeping the village in the corner like that....keeping us rooted to the earth and yet showing the glory of the skies....nice work photographer.
(5 years and 594 days ago)This looks hand held as there is a lot of camera shake showing but what a pretty scene. You need a tripod to shoot this at night.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Did you use your tripod for this shot as it is a bit soft? I like the side placement/composition.
(5 years and 594 days ago)I wonder what your aperture was for this shot as it is a bit soft. There is that viaduct in the distance. A pretty place indeed.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Very subtle line and makes this look like one photo, but yet that line is there. Great and thank you for inspirational photo upload.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Ha, are you the same fellow with the snail? Great imagination here...LOVE IT.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Wow how wonderfully vast is this image and one could do a lot of walking on a sunny day. I think if you had followed the horizontal cut rule of photography you would have a stronger photograph with more impact on the dunes. Cutting an image in half like that makes it a little less exciting visually....however, rules are for fools as they say and this may have been your artistic choice. A bit more contrast would have highlighted the dunes...the bends and shadows. I like the gentle pastel colour palette....a gentle photograph. Very nice.
(5 years and 594 days ago)I like the way you considered your composition with the path staying true to the rule of 3's. Can you see you have a tilt of the horizon line to the L you need to take down this photo and straighten it. Also, look in the bushes on the L side (viewer's left) can you see you have clipping or block up. Block up is the opposite of blow out except it is black and you have lost all detail...it is black. That is due to exposure calibration. Are you shooting on A mode or M mode? If you switch to manual you will have much more creative power over your camera. The photo is really nice and exudes a place of peace, and that would be paradise for me.
(5 years and 594 days ago)Wow imagine hiking and finding this castle. I wonder if living there would be paradise....maybe if you were a princess with a handsome prince. I feel the image could be stronger and have a stronger visual impact with a bit tighter crop all round to highlight the castle. A touch more contrast would pop the clouds as well. You would still have enough of those great mountains showing at the side to further add depth.
(5 years and 594 days ago)You managed to catch all the sparkling diamonds, including the pretty one smiling back at you. A wonderful memory photo that will hold a special place in the family album.
(5 years and 594 days ago)A bit of an illusory feel to this with the one lens being on a different level and looking larger. Nice with the other glasses in the background as a back up singer for the photo.
(5 years and 595 days ago)Reflections of summer indeed. Well seen, however the image is soft and I did check it in high resolution, it also comes out soft on there as well. You might want to take it down and sharpen it up a tad.
(5 years and 595 days ago)Plain and simple and to the point with good usage of dof manipulation. This follows the KISS principle and I am a sucker for KISS. Your ISO was spot on as this is smooth as butter.
