Great shot, eye level, and eye catch all included.
(5 years and 622 days ago)These two look like exotic dancers who are in between a step, and ought to be sweeping but are not! I like the way you have composed them between those two trees, they are nicely framed. The one further away is in sharp focus, the one closer to us is soft....did you intend to do it this way? These street sweepers sweep eternally...in the spring, in the summer, in the fall, during hot season, during rainy season during winter season...sweep sweep sweep. You have caught a slice of life.
(5 years and 623 days ago)It's a simple and stong image with a clear message and we know it's spring by the nakedness of the trees. A KISS kinda image and I'm a sucker for KISS.
(5 years and 623 days ago)My computer has a crazy ghost controlling it....sorry.
(5 years and 623 days ago)Every big girl has done this when they were a little girl so we females can all relate to the story of this image. You do have significant ghosting around the child due to the strong white light bouncing off her dress.

(5 years and 623 days ago)How interesting that the Swede's flag is blue and yellow and so is this Swede's shoe! Classy and shot at the pov that engages the viewer instantly. I wonder had you cropped down a bit more if that would make the shoe pounce out at us even more? The marginal Negative space at the top is quite pronounced. This photo reminds me of medieval torture, how painful it would be to walk in these shoes.
(5 years and 623 days ago)WOW and the thunderbolt placed right into the grid line, that is called serendipity! Thank you for sharing your way of catching this shot, that is good to know.
(5 years and 623 days ago)Author , is multi segment synonymous with stacking?
(5 years and 623 days ago)Yes, I do believe you can share the process with fellow photographers. That way we can all try this for the next contest
(5 years and 623 days ago)I have passed by this upload many many times and now I would just like to say how much I like the minimalist effect, the high contrast bw treatment and how you focus sharply into the grid line...you really worked hard to get this right and you have succeeded...especially even showing the texture of the maze. Quite a clever catch.
(5 years and 624 days ago)A spin on a grape. A lot of movement shown here, did you spin the camera around to get this effect. WOW do let us know so we can all learn from each other. I like the idea but do find the lack of focus disconcerting somewhat but perhaps that was what you were gunning for.
(5 years and 624 days ago)hmmm, yes I see the challenge. You have handled it pretty well I would say. Please feel free to critique my images too, we have so much to learn from each other. Thank you.
(5 years and 624 days ago)all for the love of photography ! I salute you.
(5 years and 624 days ago)This is a "feeling" photograph. Some photographs sing to us, others make us taste, others make us feel. I can feel the juice of this fig running down my chin....I LOVE it...I think you captured the lusciousness beautifully, it looks juicy...YUM. Placed on a white background nothing interferes with your fig. I personally would have increased the saturation a bit more or added a vibrance, just a touch, not too much otherwise it would come out overcooked....which is something I am guilty of. Natural and nice....naturally juicy!
(5 years and 624 days ago)I can see you taking this photograph and waiting for the wave to hit the stack and give your photo more visual ooooomph....IT WORKED. This is what I sometimes hear judges say "this is a photo that was made, not taken"...means that the photographer worked on it to make it special and we see that. I was going to add that it looks overexposed however, I am totally wrong, when I tilt my screen back the beauty and sharpness of detail pops out at us and we are taken on a visual treat seeing the porous detail of the rocks and foam of the water.
(5 years and 624 days ago)The surrounding capture of environment helps to make your stack more interesting. The fact that the base is not shown teases me and I am dying to know how the foundation of this stack looks like. The image itself is clear and sharp including all those wonderful gray stones surrounding the stack.
(5 years and 624 days ago)Your upload takes us on a visual ride, down and up and slash on a bit of a diagonal and that makes the visual experience quite exciting....add to that the colour red and instantly it becomes a "hot" piece to study. I wonder if you kept the camera parallel to the mask because you do lose some focus at the top and a wee nip at the bottom, but it is rather exciting to study and I bet a lot of fun to wear and cavort around with! The subject is MASK and your MASK is dead sharp!
(5 years and 624 days ago)The patterns of pews in a church, clever you are to see this and shoot it! I think had you composed it with a closer juxtaposition to the second wooden pew marker it may have been visually more compact, but that is strictly my subjective opinion and I bow to your artistry.
(5 years and 624 days ago)This rope is sharp and clear , so sharp you could cut yourself on it....did you use high pass to sharpen?
(5 years and 624 days ago)You see beauty all around you, even in sand and in the sky, what a creative person you are. You looked up and saw this beautiful moon with cloud covering. The moon is overexposed and feels hot and I feel a tighter crop would have shown , not only the moon, but the beautiful cloud formation.
(5 years and 624 days ago)I would like to thank you very much for sharing with this site as to how you captured this beauty. It is how we all learn. Tell us about your HOMEMADE macro lens...is that a regular lens turned around? I like the artistic way you have presented this little beauty and the gray background with circles enhances and points us to the little fly.
(5 years and 624 days ago)Sorry, IT does not take A1 images.....it's YOU who takes the A1 images!.....so there
(5 years and 624 days ago)Not me!
(5 years and 624 days ago)chiaroscuro effect well seen and rendered. An artistic entry and good that it is not centered.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Is there a sheep and fish joke that I'm not getting? Like this photo, wonder if it could have been stronger without a bellybutton pov? Nice and clear with good contrast and colour saturation is natural.
(5 years and 625 days ago)I like your out of the box thinking. I wonder if it would have been stronger with a closer shot of sand?
(5 years and 625 days ago)A dynamite shot and congrats on your win.

(5 years and 625 days ago)Congrats on this win, I really liked it.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Congrats on your win! It's a great shot.
(5 years and 625 days ago)A fun piece but to my "bleary" eyes it doesn't fit. I think his teeth, especially the canines need to be in focus.
(5 years and 625 days ago)you have even included shadows....sheesh, you people on this side of pxleyes are amazing. Thank you
(5 years and 625 days ago)They look like they are real and belong together. Very well done
(5 years and 625 days ago)how in heaven's name did you come up with this...it is hysterical and well done . It all fits together and I love the delivery title.
(5 years and 625 days ago)This is so cute it looks edible! The child within me has been awakened and I love this pig. Great entry.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Oh that is not too bad then. I met a couple on a trail we were hiking (10 km) and he was carrying a Mark and told me his camera weighed 20 kilograms after hiking that distance...and it is true.
(5 years and 625 days ago)I have passed bins like this and thought to take a photo too. You caught the beauty of colour and patterns and just presented it without muss and fuss!
(5 years and 625 days ago)Oh how I wish this was in better sharpness but the idea is there and thank you for the view.
(5 years and 625 days ago)When I saw this photo I laughed and my husband asked "what is so funny"? These two old gals seem to be talking to me and your title of glamooooor is great for it is show offy (that is not correct English) just like your shoes. With all that added fluff around the shoe I'm just dying to know how high a heel they have. Sexy stuff.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Wow, now this took some doing to creat this photograph, it rocks
(5 years and 625 days ago)The photograph itself is sharp on the main aspect with lovely dof manipulation through to the back. The colour palette is pleasing except for that black shadow on the upper L but overall we stop to have a closer look at your upload.
Don't you just love the contests here on this site, they make us look everywhere to find beauty. It is the story here that pulls me into your photograph and your title takes it further. Could have been a bit sharper as you lose focus on the right sock but overall the tonality is fine and the crop is good also.
(5 years and 625 days ago)As I was scrolling down to view your upload I stopped the scroll at the black shoelaces and that gave your shoe a face with a moustache! The upload is fun and this shoe looks well loved. A bit of a tight nip at the bottom, something that I am guilty of doing too.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Do you know what the acryonym ADIDAS stands for? If you want to know just ask. I like your presentation of these shoes, they feel full of energy and raring to go. NO I am not bothered by the flares and lately I've been trying to shoot to include flares (a phase I'm going through). Clean, sharp, good marginal space a pleasure to view.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Gosh, what a unique set up to show off your camera...like a flower blooming in the garden! It looks heavy to hike with tho', is it?
(5 years and 625 days ago)This camera just has to belong to a female, it is pretty in presentation and sharp and clear to look at. You need to polish your lens, looks like it is fogged up.

(5 years and 625 days ago)Looks almost like a creature from outer space with that one eye, but let us be gentle for I have seen some extraordinary images taken with phones...yeah, we need to have an iPhone contest up. I like the spooky feel of this photograph.
(5 years and 625 days ago)EGADS it's you again, you sure do have a lot of equipment!
