Looks like your best friend and you have this bond as it stares you right in the eye. Bold, bright and beautiful and nicely solidly presented.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Cool, I really like the presentation of this handy dandy little camera stuck in the back pocket and always at the ready to capture beauty that surrounds us. As the saying goes "it's not the camera , it's the photographer".
(5 years and 625 days ago)Oh my I like how you presented this camera, it really looks loved, a bit humble but clean and loved. Sepia gives it that eternal feel.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Aww you are a tease, tell us more about this wonderful monster top gun of a camera. Tell us about the contest you won and do you like this camer?a. Many at our Photo club are getting rid of their super guns and trading them in for something that is easier on the wrist. Imagine hiking 25 kilometers with this daddy hanging around your neck?! YIKES.....what is your favourite lens and why?
(5 years and 625 days ago)Nicely presented photograph.
My computer is coo coo. NOT ME, just my computer.
(5 years and 625 days ago)The way you have brought out the detail of this windmill from the shadows is superb. This looks to me like a winner.
(5 years and 625 days ago)"Pretty as a picture" as the saying goes, so this simple yet strong image has good visual impact for the viewer. Snow is crisp and white and the cabins are welcoming...everything in focus. This photograph makes me feel that the photographer is best friends with his / her camera.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Creative and pleasing, that colour palette makes us feel even colder and the hoar frost on the pier has been caught in focus. Thanks to you and your wife for warm regards....accepted with a smile.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Like the grunge efffect and the presentation of logs at their cross points, feels very Canadian, althoughI know it isn't.
(5 years and 625 days ago)I like seeing those old people in the background with this 'old' car. A clean photograph, gray zones spot on.
(5 years and 625 days ago)Love the colour palette, artistic and pleasing. Sharp as a pin and centered composition with a nip at the top, and nice bokeh!
(5 years and 625 days ago)Hat yes, slighlty soft, could have used a better dof but nicely composed with a tight nip.
(5 years and 625 days ago)You got a triple crown, congrats.

(5 years and 625 days ago)Yay, congrats!
(5 years and 625 days ago)Yay, congrats!
(5 years and 625 days ago)The texture of this image has been punched out really well without it going overboard. Nice catch to see the beauty in this old well worn wheel with a story. I bet it would look great in b/w as well.
(5 years and 626 days ago)I like your pov and the way you composed this photo, nice broad gray tonality to it also. Was it snowing this day? The thumb could be a wee bit more in focus.
(5 years and 626 days ago)ahhh merci
(5 years and 626 days ago)lol
(5 years and 626 days ago)I wish you had said something about this camera. What aspects of it do you really like and what aspects are sort of ....well....not quite perfect. The photograph itself is well done and I like the light source for it seems to punch out the camera making it more luminescent.
(5 years and 626 days ago)You have a great "punctum" that point that grabs at the eye all thanks to your dof usage. The gold in the focus area is really sharp with good texture showing and then softens into the background. The bokeh is brilliant and is the icing on this well baked cake for it gives it a further glitz and glitter story. Nice entry.
(5 years and 626 days ago)This shoe is a work of art and you have presented it beautifully and the title suits it very well. A very feminine photograph and I wonder how much these shoes would cost?
(5 years and 626 days ago)WOW I want to go there. Denlig, that was a great link, THANK YOU and this shot is skyrocketing good. Difficult to get such a huge tower into the shot but you did it.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Solid and strong image, I looked up Ushant when you had told me you went there for a music festival. You live in a very picturesque part of the world.
(5 years and 627 days ago)The gray tonality on this image is pristine and your perspective tool (if you used it at all) is spot on. Very well done.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Lovingly made by hand, sharp but I feel a different crop would have made for a stronger photograph.
(5 years and 627 days ago)So this is what affluent litter looks like. I think a different POV would have strengthened the overall presentation of this photo...remember when you change your pov you change the entire photo oftentimes for the better. This pov is ordinary albeit appropriate. Sharp clear focus and good exposure and contrast.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Nicely set up with "love" and yes it is leather....sharp image...made me smile.
(5 years and 627 days ago)This would have worked well in the "footwear" contest too, maybe you could shoot the other foot This photo is sharp showing great lizard fake skin and I like how you have composed it with just the toe in.
(5 years and 627 days ago)For some reason this reminds me of my face. I like the textural quality but the dof could have kept the entire piece in sharpness. The orange colour is natural and not overdone.
(5 years and 627 days ago)Good clean shot this but would not have minded to see more of the saddle, stirrups etc.
(5 years and 627 days ago)A very solid entry with good lead lines that take us directly to the tower. You have desaturated this a bit and that is simply wonderful for it gives a bit of an antique feel. Your focus is dead on through all the planes of the image...foreground to background. You have composed it with an artistic eye and I like it a lot. The contrast is rich and this is a lovely image to study. Kudos author on a lovely photo!
(5 years and 628 days ago)One is drawn to the otherworldliness of this great shot. We can see the artistic eye of this photographer. Your point of view is from a boat? Especially lovely are the predominantly blue hues, adds to the atmosphere of the whole shot. Your focus is dead on the lighthouse with some softening through the back, overall this is top notch! Nice work author.
(5 years and 628 days ago)A star instead of a cross, how curious. I like the fine sharp texture to this image, did you use high pass and at what percentage. That you included the image of a saint makes this gracious tower holy but not without a story...and that is intriguing for me. Nice balance to the compositional style rich in colour and good exposure. Solid entry.
(5 years and 628 days ago)You have a double whammy here...two towers. I like the crop in this highlighting the two towers without any further interference. It is a sharp image with good contrast and exposure.
(5 years and 628 days ago)Tall and slender, you must be talking about me. You have done a good job in bringing the exotic to us and I hope nobody tells you about those electrical wires because we know now that this mosque is somewhere in a busy city. I wonder had you cropped a bit more at the right if that turret would have been more strongly presented? It is a good no nonsense photograph.
(5 years and 628 days ago)I rather like the image for it brings back fond memories for me. My husband ran the Firenze Marathon and I stood by this church to cheer him on. You have done a nice job in bringing out the beauty of this tower, it is sharp and clear and did you use high pass to get the detail so right? Not overcooked, just a natural beauty. Thank you.
(5 years and 628 days ago)Good focus, striking yellow colour that isn't overblown and those diagonal wooden slats add to the overall beauty of your shot.
(5 years and 628 days ago)Beyond cute. Is this fellow stuffed? How can he put up with his human's shenanigans, I dunno? The photo is clear and gave me my morning smile and I love it.
(5 years and 628 days ago)Good title and a warm close up of fire.
(5 years and 628 days ago)I like this because there is some story here to go with the fire.
