Oh there is much feeling to this photograph. It is a hot day and we are in the shade cooling down. The range of greens makes this image sparkle and your composition is stellar giving us a feeling of shade and beckoning our eyes to travel into the photo. This is a really great example of how a 2 D medium changes into a 3 D effect and it is all in the tonal values, or rather, the very broad tonal values you have shown here. TOP MARKS.
(5 years and 642 days ago)You did a fine job of keeping the feather green and the background gray following the rules of this contest. A rather lovely, soft but sharp image of a feather with good diagonal slant to it! Simple, yet very strong. I like it.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Yes, you managed to capture that pop out of green of leaves, however, can you see the large amount of bluish hues inbetween the green? Your sharpness is on the green and that catches our eye. Filling the frame was the way to go.
(5 years and 642 days ago)WOW, you have such a nice clean image with no dust spots at all in the sky (something I'm always struggling with, hence I notice it on all photos). I would not have minded a bit more of the buildings as it feels a bit cut off and unbalanced, or if I may say, a bit of a tease. However, it does feel alien and greenish.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Yes, large green leaves and there seems to be magenta/blue hues interferring, can you now see that too? The compositional style is nice and artistic.
(5 years and 642 days ago)I think I'm in love. How lucky we are to be sharing this planet with these handsome creatures. Your heart must have skipped a beat to find him. A part of me thinks he could be contrasted a bit more to show more differentiation between the light and dark pyxles. What is really lovely is your point of view, y'see you shot from above and yet caught his eye looking at you...what this does is emphasizes his fragility, small...beautiful and it's a great photograph. I love it.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh no no no no another joke to groan at.... I like how the sheep seems to be smiling at us as if he can talk and of course with this green tint HE CAN...right? The image is sharp and I particularly like the straw hanging from his mouth and that sexy look will melt any girl's heart.
(5 years and 642 days ago)This feels like an alien landscape of a land now taken over by green. How you caught the rooftops hints of human habitation however the skies and distant mountains make this look spooky. I think you could make a moview using your technique.
(5 years and 642 days ago)This has a very nice artistic feel to it, it flows. I like your composition leaving some background in soft bokeh in the background.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Wow wow and WOW. You have a lot going for you in this striking photo. The stairs welcome the viewer to go up but first we are embraced on either side by stunningly green hues and what a surprise to find more green at the top of the stairs. The image is sharp as a razor with full tonal range of gray zone. Simply a winner.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Ahhh this is such a lovely portrait, I hope you gave her a copy. I love the spontaneous expression on her face. The green adds a punchiness and really shows up well agaist a black background. The photograph is sharp, well cropped but could use a tad more marginal space up top...that is only my opinion. I like Sophie (my mother's name)
(5 years and 642 days ago)There are two things I really like about this image. I love that deep rich green colour and the selective colour has been really well done. I am looking hard for bleeding into and beyond and past the truck and cannot find anything. This is fine work. Wish I could give you a suggestion on how to improve upon it...but I can't.
(5 years and 642 days ago)I'm impressed with this shot because you even brought back the green grass, (no mean feat). Interesting objects but I don't understand what they are used for (can't understand your description). I like how they are shot on a diagonal from large to not so large. The photograph is sharp and the gray tonality is broad.
(5 years and 642 days ago)I find it interesting that I am drawn to the one eye of the mask (the yellow mask), just goes to show you how we gravitate to the "gate to the soul". Nice tight crop and full of vibrant colour.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Matryoshka dolls are truly colourful. This is a nice snappy touristy shot, I'm sure any of us who pass these dolls has taken this shot. Clear and sharp.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Can I marry you? I would cut off my right arm for these....all of em, not just one. Like the way you filled up the whole page with these mouthwatering pieces. The dof has been wisely used to focus on one but keep the back up singers still in fine soft focus. Nice.
(5 years and 642 days ago)ha ha ha ha got the title... good and colourful too.
(5 years and 642 days ago)A clear and sharp photo with nice diagonal lines and certainly colourful.
(5 years and 642 days ago)Congrats....I liked this one a lot

(5 years and 646 days ago)Congrats Adam, it's a great shot, worthy of Photo Exhibition material
(5 years and 646 days ago)YOU DID IT! Numbero uno, congratulations, great shot
(5 years and 646 days ago)OK now I understand why we loved Hungary so much....it twirls the other way
(5 years and 648 days ago)I like your mind.
(5 years and 648 days ago)I think it's a typo, or I was high chewing magic mushrooms. I meant the red berries in her hair or rather red berries in general that's all. See, Sylvie, BMW and I all think your work is wonderful...and three of us cannot be wrong.
(5 years and 648 days ago)This is absolutely horrible and I love it!
(5 years and 648 days ago)I studied this from the moment you put it up. There is a lot of work that went into making this look this good, congratulations.
(5 years and 648 days ago)She looks awful...meaning this is good! Frozen for sure and I checked the source and how you managed to get to the final print is beyond me. Nice work.
(5 years and 648 days ago)Wow, I just looked at your source of girl and how you changed her into ice is amazing Could you tell me which tutorial you followed please.
(5 years and 648 days ago)I like your creativity, it is very different from the other entries.
(5 years and 648 days ago)I am especially taken with your notes which really help out newbies to photoshop. I love everything about your work but I did not warm up to the coloured in aspect...but that is a truly subjective opinion on my part. Your work is always over the top perfect.
(5 years and 648 days ago)I like it when an hdr really doesn't look like an hdr but has a special sparkle. This image is sharp in areas with a nice dynamic range of tones. The composition on a diagonal rocks! yay.
(5 years and 649 days ago)A pastoral scene of field with rickety fence somewhat unkempt and has a feel of better days. I like how you popped the colours in this high dynamic range image and kept the sharpness on the fence with some softness in through the background.
(5 years and 649 days ago)I think your title adds to the beauty of this image. The three layered effect is clearly seen and those bushes look great blurred, wouldn't want it any other way.
(5 years and 650 days ago)Jumps out at us in clarity. Why did you nip off his derriere?
(5 years and 650 days ago)The anomaly is still seen around the church roof but it has a painterly quality to it.
(5 years and 650 days ago)A wee bit blurry but ghostly nice.
(5 years and 650 days ago)Really lovely with rich dynamic range. I love love love love the fact that you tilted the horizon line!
(5 years and 650 days ago)I feel it could use more defined mid tones to make the patterns pop but the photo is stunning, I want to go there.
