One cannot help but get absorbed into this photo. I am not sure about the oversaturation but it is your artistic choice.
(5 years and 675 days ago)HOLY GUACAMOLE....top marks.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Minimalism, strong in b/w, artistic too. I think a bit more detail may be needed in that rock wall.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Mmmmmm, I love the story here, it adds to the rural tale...cooking pots, now only a photographer would shoot this. I like it and you perhaps monkeyed with the saturation, it works as it provides visual juxtaposition ...vibrant colours against mist...ahhhh.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Ahhh vast, rural and flooded rice paddies. The black and white helps pop out the patterns, the bright sky at the top might benefit from a bit of a nip as it is overpowering.
(5 years and 675 days ago)DO NOT FEAR THE MODERATORS....they need to fear us
(5 years and 675 days ago)Hey, leave it alone. I like the way that little house is framed by the two crags and leaving the bottom as it does give it a vast feeling. I'm on board with you on your decisions.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Oh so cliche, not that cliche is bad, it is just that it has been done before. Clean lovely photograph that is sharp with a wonderful colour palette. IT is Goooooooood!
(5 years and 675 days ago)Yes, to monochrome and rural....wow this is rural....almost isolation. Good gray zone handling showing skill in photo proccessing and photo manipulation.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Yes to this one as well. NIce and sharp I really like that outcrop of stones there because it gives us the feel of "peeking in" on a scene and whether it is rocks as in this case or grasses I always love that effect. Very nice.
(5 years and 675 days ago)YIKES, I love this. I love "taking a walk with you" feel and how we get pulled into the shot. Also, very lovely are the colours and what a clever composition, you take us into that rule of 3 grid line....ahhh ahahahahah you didn't think we'd notice...excellent.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Shows us the beauty of the land, the vast beauty of the land and you have provided a visual anchor making this a solid photograph that one can enjoy.
(5 years and 675 days ago)I think I would like to go here someday. Rural with lake and homes dotting the countryside. This photo feels airy breezy and I like your point of view.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Love the depth, the movement, the contrast the post processing the framing...heck I like this one.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Nothing could be more rural than this excellent shot. The focus is very lovely and the story can be heard. Solid presentation with good focal anchors available for our visual journey throughout the planes.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Good attention paid to horizonal cut rule making the shot more welcoming to "enter" it. Nice sharp focus throughout the image. Good colours, natural and not overworked. A solid entry.
(5 years and 675 days ago)I looked up Badia and now know where it is . Thank you. Nice rural photograph, sharp and crisp with consideration given to compositional style and keeping that fence in the frame was a nice way to hold our eye in this work.
(5 years and 675 days ago)You even caught some magical shadows that bring good depth to this shot. It is rural, unpretentious solid photography that breathes rural and we get absorbed by it. Lovely.
(5 years and 675 days ago)Bahhh...it's rural enough for me. Great pull on the eye..
(5 years and 675 days ago)LOVE IT....top marks and great title. Now all he has to do is love you forever!
(5 years and 675 days ago)Next time take a bottle of red wine, Brenda and you drink it, they you can lay down on the hallowed grounds of Siam Reap and shoot Brenda! hic
(5 years and 677 days ago)Yes, I like the crop better too. Please feel free to critique the photos posted here, as Photonut says ....IT IS HOW WE LEARN.
(5 years and 677 days ago)Interesting and imaginative take.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Such determination. I also think keeping that tree in the frame works well to give us sense of scale and distance and direction.
(5 years and 678 days ago)...and now they have a stained glass contest up...if you have more of these shots you could consider entering one. I like the colour juxtaposed against b/w. Good eyes.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Gorgeous, just gorgeous I really like this, it is simple (well not that simple) , clear, sharp, and those lanterns glowing warm ROCK. Top marks.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Love the juxtaposition of overhang and the distant building. Do you think this shot could use a splash of brightness as it seems a bit flat.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Nice one, reminds me that I have to return back to Europe.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Thumbs up for this take. Especially nice with the white out back ground. A striking shot.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Looks strong and powerful. I bet this would look great in monochrome too.
(5 years and 678 days ago)oooops second line has 8 syllables here is new version:
(5 years and 678 days ago)Perched awash in blue
Open billed stork in tree top
Red florets add spark!
Haiku is 5 - 7 - 5 where is it?
(5 years and 678 days ago)Here's mine for you:
Perched awash in blue
Open billed stork in a tree top
Red florets add spark!
Love the zen feel to this upload. Haiku, no charge.
How absolutely exotic and beautiful. Consider re-shooting this during diffused light conditions then you won't have that hot spot in the center. Lovely and great eyes.
(5 years and 678 days ago)This upload ROCKS. It look kaleidoscopic and against a muted sky like that all the details of the papaya and leaves really pop. Top marks for this. The colour saturation is natural and the image is sharp as a woman's tongue.
(5 years and 678 days ago)She looks like she is already in heaven. Is this a belly button POV, meaning you shot it at belly button level? Had you come down and shot up that feeling of looking up would have been stronger. I like the grunge effect and changing to b/w was the way to go. I also like Brenda
(5 years and 678 days ago)Wow the designs are wonderful. I feel that a tighter crop would enhance the OH WOW feeling a bit more.
(5 years and 678 days ago)I feel this would have been an ever more powerful image had you cropped down and just fill the frame with these gorgeous designs. You have the top making us visually confused with part of the roof off. Consider cropping down and see if you like it better. Work on your levels to pop those colours.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Looks like somewhere exotic wish you had said where. There is much busyness behind the main focal point and the bright white wall is quite harsh.
(5 years and 678 days ago)Nice catch but without the top it feels incomplete. Would have suggested you get more "under" the wheel.
(5 years and 678 days ago)You sure did an excellent job of fooling me. Thank you for responding. I'm still not in the mood to go and find something for this contest, although I must say, I'm looking at life around me quite differently thanks to you.
(5 years and 679 days ago)Is there an emoji for dumb dumb dumb.....muy stupido ....I will look, that would be a good one for me.
(5 years and 679 days ago)I wonder how you did this one? Thank you for making me go crazy.
(5 years and 679 days ago)I think the black from really helps to punch out this presentation. The softness of the darker half really is rather romantic. Nice, thank you.
(5 years and 679 days ago)I have been walking around like a lobotomized zombie trying to find something for this contest and VOILA you have found a beauty of an entry. I really like how simple yet strong this upload is...KUDOS for seeing this and bringing it here for our review. Ahhh I see, it is you....no surprise, you have a clever imagination and you got high score from me cherie.
(5 years and 679 days ago)Yes, I thought that face looked familiar
(5 years and 682 days ago)Thank you ....love the quote.
(5 years and 683 days ago)Boy those Google maps are something else huh? I've never been here...yet. Thank you very mucho mucho mucho.
(5 years and 683 days ago)Clear, sharp, interesting, technical aspects well done. I'm drawn to this.
(5 years and 683 days ago)If this was any sharper we would cut ourselves on it ! ! ! ! Not only wonderful macro photography but great with purple contest in mind. Please tell me about your lens and camera stats. Top marks m'dearie.
