Well, I added my two cents for the mods and contests. AND you have educated me yet again. I have never seen eucalyptus seeds...used only for ornaments interesting. Today I learned that papaya seeds are good for diabetes, liver and kidneys...and I have a papaya ripening on my counter as we speak. Yeah, those mods have a hard job...they have to go through our portfolios to see if we repeat a photo, then they have a hard time with filters....and with members too....
(5 years and 690 days ago)What aperture did you use....? And did you use a tripod?
(5 years and 690 days ago)Nice way you treated this photo, looks like you are quite set for awhile. I love the clarity on the back bills and was looking closely at them wondering if they are real or fake money.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Ah haaaa, no wonder it is 3 D in effect. Nice work. Why would anyone want to stack 15 images of 5 cent coin? End result is perfect.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Nice dof manipulation. We also blow on the penny when we find it...don't you?
(5 years and 690 days ago)So the dog got away Did you know about the island in the Arctic where Denmark and Canada are at odds as to whom it belongs to? The Danes claim it as their own because of it's proximity to Greenland and Canadians claim it as theirs. So, on a regular basis, the Danes come over and remove the Canadian Flag, put up the Danish flad and leave behind a bottle of Schnapps. Then the Canadians come around, remove the Danish flag, put up the Canadian one and leave a bottle of Canadian whiskey. Now THAT is the way to fight a battle!
(5 years and 690 days ago)Fresh eyes are always a blessing, even when they see things differently.
(5 years and 690 days ago)That's what I thought...very little monkeying with image, seems the more one monkeys with it the less beautiful it becomes. A lesson worth remembering: get it right, right off the bat.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Fragile little planet here encased in loving hues of life....peachy orange excitiing colours. I think you need to clone out the seam.
(5 years and 690 days ago)I think you needed to remove the seam with this contest, to blend it better. This can be done with clone brush (something I just figured out...
(5 years and 690 days ago)Well, let me jump in on this debate. This post shows a lot of creativity and rocks ... I love the alien feel to this planetoid and just hope it doesn't infest my ....my.....my.... ear canals. Nice and thank you for looking outside the box.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Can I borrow your planet to clean out my ear canals? Love the textural quality to this planet...nice one.
(5 years and 690 days ago)How in the heck did you get that clock to stick out like that? Did you use a magic formula other than click "automatic"? Love it.
(5 years and 690 days ago)How about don't dig a too deep rabbit hole?
(5 years and 690 days ago)I think I'm going to ingest rat poison. This is simply mind boggling great.
(5 years and 690 days ago)WOW....wonderful, just wonderful.
(5 years and 690 days ago)HOLY SMOKES...this rocks big time
(5 years and 690 days ago)Oh I get caught up with this one and no seams either. sigh
(5 years and 690 days ago)thumbs up for this one too....looks like you know what you were doing and which images worked for this technique. You would make a good teacher...actually, you are already!
(5 years and 690 days ago)No seams, I'm impressed.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Great title, great upload...is there a bit of a tilt to the left?
(5 years and 690 days ago)Clear , sharp, perfect with that black background. Like it a lot, tells a great story of your personality.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Well, I just listened to Doris Day singing "I'm forever Blowing Bubbles" thanks to you I like this nostalgic upload and want to thank you for putting it up. Well thought out and well done.
(5 years and 690 days ago)My mom used to make pyrohy with cherries, sour cream with honey....OY BOZE. This is top notch work.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Nice catch there!
(5 years and 690 days ago)This is just a suggestion but if you have IMPRESSIONS filter you could change this into a fine art piece. I like the set up of this one and those blueberries have me miffed...are they screws or blueberries
(5 years and 690 days ago)Original set up, good for you for thinking out of the box, now I will think out of the box as well...I appreciate your inspiration. I like how you included green live plants around those metallic tins. This makes me smile. Light source is well seen and the image is sharp "as a woman's tongue"...
(5 years and 690 days ago)Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Your dof calibration has rendered the bouqest in softness as we gaze deeper into it, it lacks detail. I really like the colour palette.
(5 years and 690 days ago)You have a couple of sensor dust particles (NO NOT THE BIRDS) just above the horizon line towards the right. A bit of a glow around the crane, I'm wondering if you dodged this a bit. It is a romantic scene and a great catch.
(5 years and 690 days ago)this photo feels like a symphony at peak performance! The silhouettes of trees frames the image and leads our eyes deep into the depth of the shot. Sharp and clear, nicely seen.
(5 years and 690 days ago)OH my, this is top notch image taking. Simple strong and engaging with good exposure, details clearly seen. I love it. Welcome aboard Korea...hope you give some reviews too as this site is really lacking in constructive critiques.
(5 years and 690 days ago)I think this photo would have been much stronger with a tighter crop taking out that figure at the left, leave only the man struggling with stroller and take out the figure in the distance. I know you cannot do this for these contests but in case you are thinking of submitting this into a Photo Exhibition somewhere...that's just a suggestion. I really like your photo and the story behind it.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Looks like Thai boats...ahhh Koh Lanta, of course! A romantic getaway, this would look great in a travel magazine. Tide is down, the day is ending and your piece is embedded with peace.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Good eyes for seeing this scene! You have sensor dust beneath that street sign, the silhouettes are soft.
(5 years and 690 days ago)A nice calming scene...there may be a slight tilt of the horizon to the left but I am bowing in your favour. I like the slowed down shutter speed for you have caught the milkiness of waves, a smoothness that translates visually as a calm time. Very nice, I like this one.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Unusual and I like that you think out of the box...I am assuming that is snow in purple on your window. The sunset is secondary focal point.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Crystal clear, sharp and inspirational image. Good eyes for seeing this and good technical handling as well with good details showing through all the planes of the photograph. Top notch.
(5 years and 690 days ago)I bet this is a SOOC image. Simple and strong following the KISS principle and I am a sucker for KISS. Sharp and clear with good exposure.
(5 years and 690 days ago)You are up early? 5:15 a.m. and I would rather be warm in bed under many comforters. You caught a bit of a "sundog" (that's what we call them in Canada's north country). I really like the story of this image, not only a sunrise, but a sunrise giving us much to chew on. I do wish you had put up in your notes about where this was taken. Where are you going? Why are you going there? Top notch work here.............as always.
(5 years and 690 days ago)A great catch and yes that horizon line is straight. Love that we can see the boat in the distance. There is a real sinister feel to this image, you gotta respect nature. There is something about orange and black together that is strong and works.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Thumbs up for this shot, well done.
(5 years and 690 days ago)A real eye grabber here with silhouettes at rest at the end of the day and the colours are vibrant and visually excite us. I like this shot a lot.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Ansel Adams once said that no matter how magnificent the landscape/oceanscape we humans will always hone in on the human in the image. And so it is with this emotive capture of father with sun ending their day together. The technical elements within this image are well done, your photograph is crisp and sharp with good detail showing. You sensor is clean of dust spots and the human figures placed into the grid line. A strong photograph, you will do well .
(5 years and 690 days ago)Ending of the day nicely caught. I really like the punchiness of your upload it is visually exciting with bright colours, yet not blown out. Good exposure, good horizontal cut rule applied, good sharpness...yeah, good all round. Nice photo to study.
(5 years and 690 days ago)A nice moody image, it calms our beating hearts.
(5 years and 690 days ago)I like this for the mood, it feels warm, calming ...a promise of a day yet to be born. The tree at the side gives nice sense of scale. Lovely.
(5 years and 690 days ago)OH DEAR, that ocean is going to end up on my keyboard...you have a significant tilt on your horizon line. The centered sun would have been better had you followed the rule of 3 and the horizon cut line dead center also weakens a very lovely sunset scene.
(5 years and 690 days ago)HOLY CRAP......... ! ! ! ! !.............what a difference. Yeah, I like it a lot better BUT BUT BUT....do you!? It is more to the point. Very nice indeed. chirp chirp.
(5 years and 690 days ago)This is the same woman I took a photo of in Croatia's morning market, how cool! I like your title and the photo surely speaks of an open market. Wish she would be doing something with the onions instead of looking into a garbage bin, expressionless. Technically the image is sharp, tightly cropped but enough marginal space. Our photography teacher often would say...."Wait for the photo to be born"...I think had you waited a tad you may have shot a more interesting image. Yeah, "wait for the photo to be born"....mind you, it is presumptuous of me to say this because perhaps this was exactly what you were trying to capture, so please forgive me.
(5 years and 690 days ago)Hmmm choices choices. The man on the bike is already out of the frame and does it really show a market scene? The big bucket full of eggs is clear and in frame. See that guy in the gray pants looking at you? If you cropped all the way to include him in the frame , and crop up as you really don't need all that road you would have a tighter photo. Then suddenly you have 4 men looking at you, a market scene and humour built in. You do know that you need to take what reviewers tell you with a grain of salt....OY VEY....I mean a bushel of salt. Change only that what feels right for you, listen to your artistic angel, she's probably way more creative than me and my ideas.
