Creative image, well thought out in staging and in usage of dof. Those blood drops are the icing on this well baked cake!
(5 years and 782 days ago)I like this image for it teaches us to look...look down, look up ....photos are everywhere. I like the high contrast of this and the border holds us within the photo, good call.
(5 years and 782 days ago)I never knew that, THANK YOU. Why then did the magpies in Australia decide to pounce on my husband's bald head I wonder? Could be because they were nesting, or so an Aussie told us. Nice photograph with a story, albeit a wet one.
(5 years and 782 days ago)I really like the artistry of this piece. Very warm colour palette and cold rain makes for good visual juxtaposition.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Anything for the photograph....a true passionate photographer to brave this downpour to get the photo. Did you get soaked? You really caught the downpour well.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Nice stop action here.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Nice one this and your POV rocks. Looks like a bit of snow as well ( he he he he I made a typo error and typed "snot" instead of snow....had myself a good laugh)
(5 years and 782 days ago)Good philosophical discussion here: to objectify a human strips them of their personality and dignity, they become a commodity. This monk is not a commodity, I pray I like the shot and it does echo of religion which is the title of this contest.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Sweet, looks like me eating a banana. LOL
(5 years and 783 days ago)Congrats....ohhhhh sooooo Canadian. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
(5 years and 783 days ago)Congrats, a rather handsome fellow.
(5 years and 783 days ago)congrats to you on this sweet photo, sort of reminds me of you LOL!
(5 years and 783 days ago)Big Congrats.
(5 years and 785 days ago)Hey, I live in Thailand and didn't know Lumphini had lizards...yikes. Nice colour here.
(5 years and 789 days ago)Much better in hi res, good thing you mentioned that as the overexposed areas do show photographic information in hi res.
(5 years and 789 days ago)Great stop action here. What was your shutter speed? You managed to not only get the oh wow factor into the image but also it's sharp as a pin. I like how all the attention is focused on one object, every person in your photo is looking at the same place. Great marginal considerations also evident.
(5 years and 789 days ago)I see you and thank you for reminding us to look for photos can be found everywhere. I like your entry.
(5 years and 789 days ago)WOW, thank you for inspiring me to try something like this. I appreciate your notes very much and think your shot is hypnotizing.
(5 years and 790 days ago)I love the colour palette of this post. Yellow, green a touch of blue and that gives a visually exciting photo. It is sharp as a prick! That reminds me of a joke: What is the difference between a cactus and a Ferari driver. With a cactus, the pricks are on the outside!......
(5 years and 790 days ago)This HDR touch is most appealing . I also like that you kept the road in the image showing us the downpour. The vibrancy of colours adds to the visual excitement.
(5 years and 790 days ago)I really like the intentional creative blur with this image. The colours are warm and appealing as well.
(5 years and 790 days ago)Well, as I was putting my stuff up I noticed this one and just wanted to tell you that it looked like a painting, it is so beautiful in gray shades. What surprised me was that a gorgeous Canadian sight like this could look so good in monochrome...has to do something with the photographer, I'm sure

(5 years and 808 days ago)BIG CONGRATS
(5 years and 808 days ago)OMG...are you an Aussie? They have some of the deadliest beasts on the planet....imagine being eaten by a salt water croc...ick or a funnel spider and yet I so want to re-visit Australia.
(5 years and 808 days ago)mmmm the colours mesmerize , you brought this out really well and taught us to see beyond the machinery and into the textures, colours and patterns. Wonderful.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Arresting image, to the point, sharp, easy to decipher, just wonderful, should have known it was yours! Brilliant.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Love this, and the humour made me giggle. Nice upload that teaches us to look everywhere for everywhere there is a picture.
(5 years and 808 days ago)I caught the humour (finally) and therefore found this image captivating. Nice imagination you have.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Ohhh she looks scary. We had a black widow in the bathroom in Mexico and when I saw it there I almost jumped out of my skin. thank you for this photo which brings back memories for me.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Mmmm looks to me like you are a friend of spiders. I love how you caught the environment of his dwelling. Really lovely.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Stunning shot , sharp as a whisker....What lens and camera are you using. Top marks for this presentation.
(5 years and 808 days ago)ahhh haaa thought this was yours. A winner in my eyes and the reason I didn't enter this contest, I knew you would be here. Your macros are top of the shelf stunning...hope you are selling them. Really a good shot.
(5 years and 808 days ago)The WOW factor got me. Good one this.
(5 years and 808 days ago)Felicitations. Way to go !

(5 years and 816 days ago)I like the visual balance and patterns, nice of you to catch this one.
(5 years and 816 days ago)Straight, well exposed and oh so European that it makes me want to go there...again.
(5 years and 816 days ago)Presented with love. We can tell you thought about the artistic element of this presentation. Your title, which is part of the creative process really 'rocks'.
(5 years and 816 days ago)This has a touch of evil in it, the salience of it has impacted upon me. Grrrreeat.
