I actually took a photo of one yesterday....poinciana, must remember that. Thank you.
(5 years and 978 days ago)All these years I've been singing it wrong
(5 years and 978 days ago)Accchhhh brilliant creativity. Good manipulation straight and sharp to the point focus (get it....to the point?)
(5 years and 978 days ago)This is a strong image from the perspective of story line, we surely can read into this "domestic argument" and it makes us smile. I also think that your point of view brings this straight to us without muss or fuss. A very clear and well taken photograph with sharpness and contrast present and exposure is technically perfect. This is top notch.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Like your post processing and the punch of the focal point.
(5 years and 978 days ago)This looks to me like photographic art at it's best. A large canvas incorporating shades of magenta and purples which soothe the soul Purple has long been accepted as the colour of soul (or in Japan of nobility). The orange hues warm us and we dance through the sky through the striations of colour. Simply delightful, top notch.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Very nice to see the sun and all that snow makes for a visually stimulating image.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Hot and cold ....this image has great visual impact and is well composed keeping the rules of photography in mind.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Yes, thumbs up, not only did you include the grasses but you also caught the breeze along with the sun. Love the minimal colour palette of blues, it feels cool. Nice entry....again.
(5 years and 978 days ago)I like your compositional style and how you engage they eye by the inclusion of surrounding area.
(5 years and 978 days ago)A very nice feeling of relaxation goes with this sunset photo, good entry.
(5 years and 978 days ago)LOve this with the two people there to add human interest The colours are rich and real and the compositional style gives strength.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Thanks for that info. Very good shot.
(5 years and 978 days ago)You sure get around don't you. Lovely capture, warm and exotic. Thumbs up.
(5 years and 978 days ago)"....but just like the guy whose feet are too big for his head!" The artistic flair is evident in this lovely upload ...changing it to b/w of course that was the way to go. Thumbs up.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Love that peeking in feel to this compositional style. Very nice handling of dof.
(5 years and 978 days ago)Be still the beating of my heart. YES YES YES to this thumbs up not only is the colour palette soothing the heart of the flower well and sharp with explosion of petals outward...this one rocks.
(5 years and 978 days ago)My hair this morning! I love this, the detail caught is exquisite and fill the frame was the only way to go. Nice compositional style. What are you shooting with?...and lens?
(5 years and 978 days ago)WOWOWOWOWO. Love the feel of this and the sharp capture. Your compositional style catapults this into the realm of photographic art. Worthy to matte, frame and hang on your wall, just needs your signature.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Good white balance as your dear friend Ms. S. would tell you I'm sure.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Perfect for "new beginnings" contest as well. This is a sharp image done with classy simple composition using the rule of 3 of photography. Rich well contrasted colours, bokeh superb. This is one that would be nice to hang up on the wall.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Ahhh be still the beating of my heart. What a beautiful unpretentious shot that speaks to us in triple harmony. Your bokeh is perfect with gradual softening, good marginal space, well balanced, just a delight to review and to vote on!
(5 years and 979 days ago)The post processing caught my eye, I like it for it demands our attention. Well composed and framed. Be careful with yellow, it tends to blow out but here it has a wonderful explosive feel that adds to the photograph. Very nice.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Where have I seen this one before?.......or have I? Love the way the "hand" seems to be reaching out. Your detail has been well caught and it is not blown out. It was good then and it is still good.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Strong photograph, sharp, well contrasted, rich in feel. Nice one this.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Like the POV and this felt like it could go on forever, and it did!
(5 years and 979 days ago)Good one. Artistic and to change to b/w was the way to go, good thinking !
(5 years and 979 days ago)Very thoughtful upload, well constructed with ample marginal space, sharp focus and good bokeh.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Nice artistic flair to this image, pleasing to the eye and relaxes us.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Thank you for educating us with the name of this flowering tree. I never knew the name, now I know.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Like this one a lot. The lighting is excellent as is your exposure and focus is spot on. Your POV also adds strength to this shot. Did you know this flower is the national flower of Nepal and you can eat the blooms. The blooms soothe stomach aches and taste lemony. Good to know, huh )
(5 years and 979 days ago)Like it, good focus with a background that supports the image .
(5 years and 979 days ago)Hi there, nice one.
(5 years and 979 days ago)I love the "feel" of this image, that textural squishy feeling of water flowing. The primarily blue colours are cooling and the shot is beautifully exposed and nicely composed.
(5 years and 979 days ago)A photographer with balls to put this up. Love the creativity, you could add more colour with PS manipulation (which is not allowed with these contests but for the Photo Exhibition you could blow this outta da vater! )
(5 years and 979 days ago)Hola amigo, muy bien, gracias por memorias.
(5 years and 979 days ago)I like the spontaneous feel to this image. They are not bothered by you and you have peeked into their lives through your camera and the colours rock.
(5 years and 979 days ago)This could be Nepal or any third world country and to fill the frame with colour was perfect. You seem to have a bit of camera shake on it tho'.
(5 years and 979 days ago)A gustatory and visual delight. Well done.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Not only are the colours there but you resurrect an emotion for me, this feels familiar to me and that comforts the soul. Very nicely seen and shot.
(5 years and 979 days ago)What I find delightful about this image is that is whispers to us in muted shades of colours, it doesn't scream. It feels like a prayer. To fill the entire frame with prayer flags was the way to go as the patterns tickle us visually.
(5 years and 979 days ago)This is an oh wow photograph with much visual eye candy to delight us. Nicely done kind sir!
(5 years and 979 days ago)Nice, I like it.
(5 years and 979 days ago)I think the post processing done on this image propels it into the OH WOW realm. A photo that tells a story and delights us with eye candy.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Oh my this is good. The message is clear as is the photograph and you have all the elements in there to tell the story of what is yet to be born. I like the angle as well, balanced with good marginal space all round this is a most pleasant image to view.
(5 years and 979 days ago)This photo does justice to the title and celebrates books and the hunger of young readers, a refreshing sight to witness. I like the busy feel to this image with people mulling around and the hither and dither scatter of books yet that young unhurried girls is the strong focal point of your image. Nicely seen and goo thing you had your camera with you on this day. You nailed it.
(5 years and 979 days ago)Love the braces as it really adds to the story. Nice black out of background and full focus on that medication. Sharp and well balanced with good visual weight from photographic elements on both sides of frame.
(5 years and 979 days ago)I know, I used to think you couldn't edit your mistakes , however, if you mouse over to your profile a drop box shows where it says MY ENTRIES, go there and to the photo. Then you can click on description and edit it. Be patient tho' because sometimes the description or title area takes a moment to get activated.
(5 years and 983 days ago)There..........clear as mud
A longer exposure has given a nice feeling of blur to the boat coming into the frame. There is a softness in the water but the mountain lacks sharpness, however, sometimes softness is the way to go with these romantic kind of shots. Yes, romantic is a good word for this presentation. I like your compositional style as well by incorporating those boulders at the side you give us many focal points to rest upon as we do a visual journey through this landscape.
(5 years and 983 days ago)The way you caught the exposure on this is excellent. Putting the palm trees into silhouette (are they oak trees really?) then that wonderfully alive green colour, and the yellow sun against blue really is visual candy. The centered compostion works to wrap us into the photograph and engages us.
