(5 years and 998 days ago)Liked this one right from the gitgo. Congratulations on silver medal!
(5 years and 998 days ago)Hey big congrats on this winning photo,it took skill to do this one. You so deserve it.
(5 years and 998 days ago)16 teen...
(5 years and 998 days ago)Great sense of humour, made me laugh and this is well done. Has a professional look to it.
(5 years and 999 days ago)Holy Guacamole....this is gooooooooooooooooooood. Reminds me of Salvador Dali.
(5 years and 999 days ago)INDIA, well blow me down. I'm going to look it up right now...thank you.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)9 out of 10 people love chocolate and the tenth one is lying )
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Swiss chocolate is the best in the world, don't tell me you didn't have any when traveling through that magical country?
This is a photograph made, not a picture taken and I really like the "romantic" quality to it. We know you worked hard to get this and succeeded. I do think that the rock in the distance is vying for too much attention and is taking away from the grasses giving this an unbalanced feel...but that is strictly a subjective opion. Technically well done on quick shutter speed and freezing the swaying grasses and the colours are natural and appealing.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Good idea to keep those people there in the corner as it gives scale to those mountains. I wonder if this shot could use a tad more contrast to give further depth to tonal ranges and it would pop more? This would be a great place to visit and why am I only thinking about chocolate!
(5 years and 1000 days ago)A nice clear day, a nice clear shot with diagonal slash of road at bottom and people enjoying the day. Full of story, technically well executed, good entry.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Oh how I wish you had told us which university this is. A place to relax and de-stress. Ansel Adams once said that no matter how beautiful an image/landscape is if you place humans in the frame that is immediately where our eyes go...and so it is with this upload. I like it quite a bit.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Brrrr, interesting isn't it how such a cold photo could evoke such feelings and when feelings are born, art has been made (according to Tolstoy). Like the blowy feeling and that one bench to the side adds depth to the story.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Oh what a great presentation , I would love to visit this place. I think your POV makes this image and the compositional style of including the flower bed in the front pointing us into the next flower bed and hence into the shot is reallly well thought out. It works for me. This spells serenity. Nice colours too, not overcooked...simple and strong, simply great. Ahhh I see it is Christchurch and I was there, many many falls ago.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)All about the hair. Good entry, I got an emotional pull with this upload of yours.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Nice photojournalistc image.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Do you ever say "why can't I get a shot like that?" when you see a great photo? That is what I feel when I look at this well taken photograph of blurred spinning wheels and sharp stationary foundations. I also like the blur of people showing movement. Nice one again.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Whooaaahhh be still the beating of my heart. Juxtaposition of man in front against swirling circle is EXCELLENT. Great enty. Thumbs up for this one!
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Good idea to change to nice b/w tonal ranges.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Lately I have seen photos that are intentionally tilted, and the horizon is waaaaay off but the excitement is added with that unconventional composition. I have a feeling that had you tilted this hither and dither it would have worked. This one is nice and sharp so your shutter speed was smack on the money.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)I like this one because I found myself holding my breath. You shot this at the peak of emotion, and caught her concentration. I like how you have incorporated the surroundings...just enough to add to the story.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Why do people do this to themselves? Great shutter speed, you caught that action and froze it, image is nice and sharp.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Holy guacamole ! Great catch, love the blur and the sharpness, a photo that excites.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Nice emotion caught!
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Nice one, clear and unpretentious.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Woooaaaah, now that is what I call thinking ahead. Great dyptich entry, snow is a bit overexposed with hot spots and the images are soft but the idea is excellent as is the precision of execution.
(5 years and 1000 days ago)Sweet photo and like the different colour showing different times of day. A bit on the soft side tho'.
(5 years and 1000 days ago).........and if you win, you are taking me out for a nice cup of coffee....deal?
(5 years and 1001 days ago)Yes, it does look better.
I see it!I see it! Looks like an M to me. Could be a C, could be a W, could be a fancy font X. Not matter, good eyes, that reflection makes it exciting. Quack quack
(5 years and 1001 days ago)Ahhh yes, like the story, "life is tough"
(5 years and 1001 days ago)See that yellow at the margin line? Do you think your image would look cleaner if that was eliminated? Sharp shot, like the post processing too showing rich tonal ranges. Makes me want to be there.
Did you check your horizon line? I think you did a spot on job with the colour saturation. The photo is well composed with that sweet little boat to the side. The image is sharp clear and it causes one to say "awwwwwwww" how cute.
(5 years and 1001 days ago)You sure do get around. I like the tonal values on this impressive image which is full of story. She is really a large ship and I like how you composed her to the right with all the little pipsqueeks by her side. Very lovely.
(5 years and 1001 days ago)I should have known this was yours. I love how you used the elements of photography to build this photograph. Your lights are not hot, well exposed, the lines pull on our eyes and invite us into the image and it looks to me like it is raining creating a nice mood, and if it isn't raining at least it looks wet! Nice one.
(5 years and 1001 days ago)Looks like you kept a winner
(5 years and 1001 days ago)I like the point of view with this, me looking in and down. I also like your post processing treatment, a touch cooked but not overcooked.

Thank you for not ripping my head off and I do see your point of view. Appreciate this discussion, wish more would jump in and take part.
(5 years and 1001 days ago)Touches our hearts. YOu did a good job to focus on the eyes which in turn soften our hearts...a beauty.
(5 years and 1002 days ago)I hope it's calibrated correctly as well, I think it is . I never knew there was a specific name of Ferrari red, thank you.
(5 years and 1002 days ago)OK, this is the problem, I do not get much of photomanipulation so thank you for "straightening me out". It is amazing work, someday, maybe I will try it too.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)Good grief, this is good. I love how you manipulated the fonts, added colour and we get the message and your manipulation brought a smile to my face.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)I'm always amazed by photoshop contests and what members come up with. I love the framing and how you got the background to be softer. To me, this is amazing work.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)I'm always amazed by photoshop contests and what members come up with. Amazing work. I would have like to see the fonts a bit larger.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)Quite an unusual logo. Love the warm copper hues, the red hot colours at the right vye for attention and they get it! Sharp and interesting.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)To my eyes it's a bit overcooked and too much wheel and not enough logo. Cropping is an artistic tool and I do feel that with a tighter crop this image would be much stronger.
(5 years and 1003 days ago)Why does this shot have such a personality attached to it? Reminds me of my husband, old, grungy, full of history. Nice realistic colours, well framed, seems to be talking to me. I like it a lot.
