Well... "decent money" doesn't mean millions. And of course it would depend on the condition of the coin, as with almost all coin collecting. But they're fun to keep an eye out for. I rarely "critique" other people's images. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once in a while.

Great colours and interesting grungy effect on the rocks. Sharp, well composed, sun has set so the image is not blown out. Lovely colour range. Super shot.

Good composition - some excellent points of interest to keep the eye working through the image. This type of shot needs sharper focus not the soft treatment which for me flattens it out too much.

What a great shot. Superb eye contact - excellent composition with the figure surrounded by the sacks to give context and texture. Some great colour but the palette is well controlled and not too vivid which retains the environment in which the subject works.

Great composition - textured sections above and below the eyes. The image gets the viewer thinking because of the title 'Samurai' but the face is half hidden by a decorative fan. Is that a contradiction - I wonder what is going on!?

Super shot. Wonderful face and great texture in the clothes. He is a contented man at peace with himself - probably a village headman to whom wise decisions come easily. The light emphasises the face but the rest of the shot is still detailed. Great!!

Fabulously cheeky face. Black background makes the image stand out really well. At first I thought the noise too much but after a while I think the dusty effect adds to the photo by giving it context - a street in the back of beyond. Yes - he'd be able to talk you into buying a wreck!!

A fun collection of coins, even the ones that aren't actually coins (SEGA). If you go by again you should check the American ones and get any silver colored ones that are pre-1964. They're often worth some decent money because they were still solid silver.
