Hands of a Buddhist Monk

Every morning around 6 a.m. the monks in Thailand do alms collecting. They follow in the steps of Buddha. During this time, the Thai people donate food , flowers and in return the monks stop and chant anodyne prayers in the Pali language. It is a beautiful scene to behold.

Oh my, it was cold. We heated the place burning dried camel dung which burns quick and doesn't give off much heat. A friendly cat crawled into my sleeping bag and purred and purred and woke me up. I loved every minute of this experience!
