Why not make it a little smaller and red, like a fire hydrant?
(5 years and 3264 days ago)really like the style of it
(5 years and 3264 days ago)way to go author
GL

(5 years and 3264 days ago)ok, I gave you a chance..... Here`s the first thing you didnt draw

Note the usage rules
I have more to come
very neat chop...extra points for the realism...good luck author
(5 years and 3264 days ago)Not a bad vector drawing. The only thing that bothers me is the...stuff behind the trees silouette. I think it isn't the right place or it, but just my opinion.
(5 years and 3265 days ago)Nice job
Nicely done, good luck
(5 years and 3265 days ago)The tap needs a bit more of sharpening to blend better with the image. It looks too blurry right now.
(5 years and 3265 days ago)I see you`ve added a link for some brushes, the rest is drawn yes?
(5 years and 3265 days ago)I have an uncanny ability to unearth sources that people claim to have drawn, I would suggest you list the pre-made brushes & sources you used before I start looking for links (its rare I prewarn too)
(5 years and 3266 days ago)Really nice outcome but I will suggest to remove this clouds and use some real cloud image or cloud brush and if possible remove left side strait line...
(5 years and 3267 days ago)Best of luck my friend!
You could use some crazy hair to make it closer to the Joker.
(5 years and 3286 days ago)nice work...gl
(5 years and 3287 days ago)This is very nerve wracking ... I love to hate this one! But then I am not particularly keen on Dentist ... you nailed one of my pet fears on the head!
(5 years and 3289 days ago)You would have done well to find pictures of galaxies instead of the brushes you used. I am a supporter of using brushes to enhance an image, however I do think that some of them tend to miss the mark. There are tons of awesome astral photography shots in creative commons on flickr if you look, and perhaps in the future that will be something you consider.
(5 years and 3289 days ago)Great concept!
(5 years and 3289 days ago)For size differences, try changing both images to meet in the middle. Do size change before you bring them together and it's best not do it with the transformation tool. Use Image>Image Size (Alt+Cnt+I) or if you have it available use OnOne Genuine Fractals for resizing.
Try some disolving white clipping layer on it's torso. If you're lucky it will also look like snow, lol.
(5 years and 3291 days ago)Should have used the pen or lasso to cut him out more precisely. As for the upper & lower halves, I'm sure you can figure something out.
(5 years and 3291 days ago)Author, you only whited out his lower half, the upper half is all grey. I can't figure out how or why you did that. I'd like to help but I'm kinda clueless here. Also about why his edges are so smooth.
(5 years and 3291 days ago)The edge masking is pretty abominable. Good idea, though.
(5 years and 3291 days ago)Skin usually doesn't have just one color in it. I would suggest making several hue/saturation adjustment layers and painting in the face with multiple layers. After you have masked the adjustment layers you can then edit the layer for the right color.....Another option is to open a similar image of a person and just sample the colors on the face and then paint them on a new layer set to color above your image. afterwards you can just adjust the hue/saturation of the layer. Good luck! Here is a tutorial I wrote, hope it will help you.

Gets a bit purple out there, too, don't it?
(5 years and 3293 days ago)The monster is cute...even though it is evil hehe. I would have done a softer beveling around the mouth, but other than that I don't know what else to say. Lotsa luck!
(5 years and 3294 days ago)very nice work author and great sbs...best of luck
(5 years and 3295 days ago)Nice job blurring the bits. I think if you colorized the face it would give you more contrast against the drill bits. Right now the bits get a little lost with the background because they're the same color. Good luck!
(5 years and 3295 days ago)You did a good job, but agree that the perspective looks wrong.... good luck.
(5 years and 3295 days ago)The face is a bit blurry.
(5 years and 3295 days ago)Gl
just a thought/suggestion:
(5 years and 3295 days ago)perhaps a "flip horizontal"
of the head would make
it look more photo-realistic ...
The first fathead woman samurai!
(5 years and 3296 days ago)Should have used the teeth from source 1.
(5 years and 3296 days ago)Edit: Yep, looks better!
Well that's why we have.. wait for it....wait... ta-naaaa : Vanishing Point!
(5 years and 3296 days ago)It really helps cloning in perspective. No more blury hard warped distorted textures. Order now at 555- Filter- Vanishing or 555- Alt+Ctrl+V !
This is a very original idea for the source given. It is hard to tell how well the blending is where the head is set on the samurai but the proportion is all off. The head seems to be quite large compared to the body. Fixing that along with offering a high res and this would be great. Nice effort and very unique idea. Keep the creative thoughts going!!
(5 years and 3296 days ago)Oh, I would like to add, though, that you seem to have a floating bunch of leaves at the very bottom right of the image.
(5 years and 3297 days ago)Good use of another contest source, and great idea for this contest.
(5 years and 3297 days ago)very nice job looks very good
(5 years and 3298 days ago)I see what you're trying to do here, but the reason it does not look very convincing is that the perspectives dont match. The path rises much too steeply when you compare it to the ground in the source pic.
(5 years and 3298 days ago)It's always better to do your own lighting effect than just pop in a lens flare, which we have all seen a million times.
(5 years and 3299 days ago)Lens flare needs to go too...
(5 years and 3299 days ago)Author, you finally got it right...good luck to you!
(5 years and 3299 days ago)Great rework! Don't worry, it gets easier with every contest you enter!
(5 years and 3299 days ago)I like the effect of the near asteroids, but the background could use a little work (the nebula and the star shines).
(5 years and 3300 days ago)Author, these sources are still not usable. Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2009/06/how-and-where-to-find-legal-source-images/
(5 years and 3300 days ago)You might want to consider a different swing source. Here are a few:

(You'll have do do a little chain work, 'tho...)
Sources are not usable. Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2009/06/how-and-where-to-find-legal-source-images/
(5 years and 3301 days ago)Great concept, but the perspective angle of the swing is too skewed for the angle of the arch. Either the kid needs to be more face forward, or the arch needs to be angled.
