But by cropping we don't see it's shot with wide angle ...

This could be improved with closer crop.

If the title is "Spiraling Fungus," and the fungus is the subject, wouldn't 100% of it be in the shot?

Lovely subject and lighting, but I think a vertical camera angle would have filled the frame better.

Colors and lighting are nice and warm, but the image seems to be a bit out of focus.

Love the miniatures, but I think capturing so much of the background pulls away from the actual carvings. Perhaps a more shallow DOF would've been better.

This one is close,
an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines.
If you crop a bit off the top the the top horizontal line runs along the horizon (top of path) it would be better.

Image would be more effective if you had the horizon straight.

The idea is excellent, but I think it's a tiny bit too dark.

Composition and color are great. The story nicely explains the white flare/blur.

Very ominous feeling portrayed. Image is a tiny bit blurred, but as the story portrays, being in a boat....it would be a bit blurry.
