(5 years and 3301 days ago)cute little guy
(5 years and 3306 days ago)Nice, good luck!
(5 years and 3311 days ago)Cute drawing! I'd add a bit more hair on the LH side to help balance out the composition, it looks like her face is too large for her hair...Excellent work on the dog!
(5 years and 3312 days ago)This looks skewed or warped to the right. Poor puppy needs to be more upright and rounded out, he's leaning too much.
(5 years and 3312 days ago)nice work...gl
(5 years and 3317 days ago)this one is interesting, makes you stop and look and think
(5 years and 3326 days ago)pretty and sharp, but not exciting

(5 years and 3341 days ago)Well done on a difficult theme. I was having brain lock and I think you have helped me. Thank You.
(5 years and 3341 days ago)I thought that it was a hat with a tv on it. It would be useless because how are you supposed to watch a tv that is on your head?
(5 years and 3341 days ago)YOU are so brave.
(5 years and 3344 days ago)like i said on another comment, i tried...i tried with a valiant effort, and wasnt' happy with any of my results in this one...so i give you high commendations on givin it your all.
honestly, a landscape is one thing i didn't think to be so difficult til i set out doing it..and i realized, i really had no idea what to do with it. ..
Good luck on this, and all your future ones. i look forward to seeing you grow as an artist!!!
Yes...I agree with above....keep painting and paint what you love!!!!! Good Job author!
(5 years and 3347 days ago)For someone that is new to painting you surely take on a difficult subject matter in a bold fashion. For this you are to be commended highly. Honestly I can not say enough about the courage a person displays when trying something new and then posting it in a forum such as this. Way to go Man!
(5 years and 3347 days ago)As far as suggestions for you to improve.........do another one!
Message me if I can help at all. If you do Netflix there is an Acrylic painting video under special interests. Follow along and they will have you moving ahead fast. Best of luck!
Oh.....and fan brushes are great for grass.

(5 years and 3348 days ago)nice painting author...GL
(5 years and 3348 days ago)Good overall composition, the eye is nicely led across the painting.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Your biggest problem is one of being consistent in your painting.
The tree trunks suddenly get very thin from thick, and you over did the above ground roots a bit too much.
Your coloring is also inconsistent. This is most noticeable in the sky. Generally, the sky is slighly darker at the top, getting a little lighter as you get nearer the earth. Your sky has like a "light colored halo" around the picture.
This brings up the biggest consistency problem, the water reflection. Your sky is darker and bluer, with clouds that the sky doesn't show, while your trees are LIGHTER in the water reflection. .
You also have the edges of the water a bit too perfect, more like a swimming pool or a puddle after a rain. If you study some photos of landscapes, you will see that nature is seldom quite so regularly shaped and spaced.
Here is an example to show you - Notice the coloring of the sky and the trees, and along the edges of the water:

It's a good start, you will get better the more you practice.
Very nice composition, but the tree branches are too symmetrical on the left, like the teeth on a comb. You need to paint some branches in the middle of the tree facing the viewer. Branches need to overlap and grow from different directions, not just the sides.
(5 years and 3349 days ago)Here is a tutorial about painting pine trees you may find helpful:

(5 years and 3370 days ago)nice one. gl
(5 years and 3370 days ago)I Like this one ,great job.
(5 years and 3372 days ago)It's cool, but more contrast wouldn't hurt, in the pics his hair & ribbon are darker than his shirt - in your drawings is not always the case. Also in pics, the guy always has clear highlights ( either on cheek or on his nose), because he's sweaty, they trully shine. If you have a white crayon, you could make this more clear.
(5 years and 3372 days ago)very nice drawing author...best of luck
(5 years and 3372 days ago)cool work author...GL
(5 years and 3372 days ago)Finally got it right?
(5 years and 3372 days ago)Oh BTW steps 7 and 8 are the same in your SBS.
beautiful!
(5 years and 3373 days ago)But jaws, what about the "noise"!!
(5 years and 3444 days ago)Really nice color on the mountains. It adds a sense of atmopshere to the piece. I like the rock texture and almost wonder if the trees could use the same texture and remain as suggestive in their presence rather then more noted with the detailed work.
(5 years and 3567 days ago)Lovely work, best of luck
