I suggest you read the description of a silhouette, and increase the contrast.

I like the framing of this shot, but the sky seems a bit 'banded' (at least on my monitor!). Still - nice feel & good title...

Yeah, that's what a lot of them do. Shut off their ears with earphones, and avert their eyes with texting. Heaven forbid they actually speak to the person right next to them.
