This was Egret was fishing in the shallows on a cold still winter day. I love the reflection you get off the water during winter the sun is at a lower point in the sky and tends to give a surreal look in the photos.

This Osprey was dining on a bass when I came around the corner I spooked him and he dropped the fish. Here he is looking for it. If you look closely you can see the tail of the fish in the fork of the tree.

This photo was taken at the Dog beach in Santa Cruz. I was amazed to see this yellow lab surfing. Most dogs do it on accident but this dog was doing it on purpose.After frolicking in the waves he swam out and hung out with the surfers.
