Yes think it does need a crop
(5 years and 834 days ago)Emotion packed and just lovely. Have you considered a closer crop? Clear sharp and nicely exposed even if you did flash it, it is well done and suffers from no blow outs. Nice
(5 years and 834 days ago)In this tutorial, step 11, is a quick and dirty way to make a brush to paint clouds. It's not a rasterized "cloud brush" so to speak. It uses brush settings to "paint" clouds. There are other advanced and more tedious methods, but this takes just a few minutes to set up the brush and you have it saved forever. You can use different layers while painting and maybe make these layers darker or lighter to create depth.

A centipede train. Nice idea. Is that orange/red thing behind/under the train one of the feet from the original?
(5 years and 879 days ago)Good technical work! I would have coloured in golden the little triangles that remain white near the center of the axis.
(5 years and 880 days ago)Someone's kitchen and that backsplash adds to the kitcheny feel. (I know that is not a word). Nice and sharp, full of delightful colour but a bit of a nip at the right...a bit tight could use a bit more marginal space.
(5 years and 880 days ago)You have really good detail on the statues, nice exposure. Try changing your POV as this looks like a happy snappy photo by that I mean if I was walking with you on this day, and looked over at these statues I would see exactly what you have shot. You need to try to catapult the image over and above the ordinary...so bend your knees, lie down on your tummy (yes I'm serious)...do something to change the image from ordinary into extraordinary. Thank you for bringing your images to us...they remind me that I want to travel to India, Sri Lanka soon.
(5 years and 881 days ago)I love the story of "somewhere exotic" with your photograph. The way you have cropped it is tight and to the point and we see instantly what you wanted to show. I would suggest you crop in at the right because that flower on the margin is asking for too much attention and is stealing from your shot. If you have a bit more room to give to the bottom it would be better as the garlands are quite tight. Cropping is an artistic tool, use it wisely and now that I have said that, perhaps the artist in you wanted it this way, so I bow to your artistic prerogative.
(5 years and 881 days ago)Actually its four and a quarter. See the quarter on the right top part of the photo?
(5 years and 884 days ago)Show us a photo which was made in a kitchen. Do not post photos from just food.
(5 years and 884 days ago)Consider a square crop with a circular object as it strengthens the photograph. A bit of a nip at the bottom . The colours are very pleasing and "delicious".
(5 years and 885 days ago)I love how you caught the happiness in this shot! Very intriguing and makes me wish I could be there.
(5 years and 885 days ago)Could be a bit sharper but very colourful and eye catching.
(5 years and 885 days ago)Blurred but interesting house.
(5 years and 890 days ago)Nice photo but blurred. The idea is great.
