That's looking a bit better. Still not 100% there technically but definitely getting there. I know it can be difficult finding the right balance. How are you doing the shading? If you put a new layer over the penguins and use some darker colors (blues or purples possibly, never black) then blur and set the layering mode to multiply you should get some very good results. Once that's done you can adjust the opacity or erase sections away, whatever you feel looks best.
