ok, found the source, its inside the SBS.

Its a nice looking picture, but it doesnt look like a sketch as the tutorial says its suposed to be. to me it looks more like you just simply made the image black and white. and then used a spackle texture over it and faded some of the rest out.

Ive seen other work of yours and i think you can do so much better on this tutorial. GL author.

After using polar coordinates filter you should clean up hard lines at top middle of image using either clone stamp, healing brush or some other means. Just trying to help

Being a "bug-fan" I knew this one (trivia that is...) what a unique model year this was...too bad it wasn't in fully restored condition...I would have loved to see that! Nice find author. (Proud previous owner of a 1973 "Super" Beetle)

Very nice, but the lack of resolution in the source pic diminishes the impact of your work by diminishing the contrast between the in-focus and out-of-focus portions.

play with contrast and HDR toning... this has some major potential (in the tute you can add saturation.. I really like where this is going.. it's a very neat image... good luck

Cool! I ate a big calamari tube stuffed with shrimp in a white sauce with sourdough toast at a restaurant there while on business in the early 90's(for breakfast). It was awesome!

I digress. I've never tried this technique before, although I want to, but yours looks pretty good!

give your shots really different titles or they will be pulled because you are giving away who the author is by keeping them so close in names!
