(5 years and 3522 days ago)Would be funny if a person actually would wave to the sun ("Good morning, Sunshine!!" and the Sun waves back . Good luck!
(5 years and 3522 days ago)Funny, the other day I saw some documentary about the inspiration for the Beatles to make their songs. At first they didnt wanna admit it had anything to do with this real person, perhaps because otherwise they'd have to give royalties to the family Rigby (something like that was it...).
(5 years and 3522 days ago)Good luck!
Quite funny . Perhaps an idea to make the text from the outside in white, right now in black it's a bit hard to read in the kinda dark background. Good luck!
(5 years and 3522 days ago)Ah, so this is Cornelia from last year? Nice SBS, btw! Good luck!
(5 years and 3523 days ago)Ow, and I see you signed your entry, but better not. Entries have to remain anonymous until the end of the contest, so it's highly recommended to remove your sig. Good luck!
(5 years and 3525 days ago)Check this page http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2009/07/how-to-participate-in-pxleyes-photoshop-contests/ for more info about how to add a SBS, etc. Good luck!
(5 years and 3525 days ago)Pretty original thinking! Maybe an idea to actual showing the stone where it's carved, so you get more the feeling of a (stone) card? Good luck!
(5 years and 3528 days ago)Pretty ok suggestive work. I only would expect that with such light source in the middle that all the shadows around it would go from the middle to the outside, instead of all from left to right. Perhaps could have increased the drama effect. Good luck!
(5 years and 3528 days ago)Too funny and nice work! Good luck!
(5 years and 3528 days ago)Nice drawing full of detail. Well done! Good luck!
(5 years and 3528 days ago)That mask looks pretty good, I'd definitely do something about the hand and (folds for the) arm. Good luck!
(5 years and 3528 days ago)Good search for the kitchen! All the elements fit well in the final image, especially the duck under water is funny . Maybe something to think bout is if you want to replace the teeth in the glass for the transparant bucket in the middle. Up to you. Good luck!
(5 years and 3531 days ago)*drools*. Good luck!
(5 years and 3533 days ago)Good creepy mood . If you can clean up a bit around his left arm (for viewer right), would be nice. Good luck!
(5 years and 3535 days ago)Nice and funny image. I do think that you should look at the composition. Right now both characters are (more or less) under in the image, while it might be even more interesting if for example you lift the bird catcher a bit. his way the top of his head will be in the white light area so it will be more part of the whole. At the same time you can lower the bird a bit so that the green field under will be involved too. Make sure that the red tail from the bird will be overlapping the catcher, so there's still connection between the 2. If you'd make these small changes, your eye will get more invited to look from left up going down (the catcher behind) and the from down left going to right (the bird in front). Just an idea. Good luck!
(5 years and 3537 days ago)Something tells me you like the work from Milo Manara . Good luck!
(5 years and 3537 days ago)Edit:
Nice color combination. Just out of curiosity, why is the feminine sign upside down? Good luck!
(5 years and 3537 days ago)Edit: stupid me
Although it´s personal, but I think with a more neutral background (or perhaps something like a table surface), the attention will go more to the drawing itself. It's because the drawing has quite some texture and the background -which is premanipulated, btw- too, is imo overkill. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Edit: looks way better!
Nice elegant beanstalk without stretching the original source too much, well done. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Not bad, but in your step 1 I see a side which implies thickness for the half sphere. I completely miss that in the final entry. I think with that side you create more depth, which can be nice for this icon. Up to you if you want that. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Funny, but why is the High Res so amazingly big, when it doesnt show a sharp image? Then I'd prefer a smaller but sharper image. Just my opinion though. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Not bad, but the side of the sphere is a bit rough. Perhaps you can put a round selection that fits the sphere and then feather it with 1 or 2 pixels. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Véry nice shot, really well done! Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)I'm with locksmagic and itsmymoment, nice shot! Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)Good find, cool effect indeed. Good luck!
(5 years and 3540 days ago)! Good luck!
(5 years and 3541 days ago)Nice association, the flower fits well there. Good luck!
(5 years and 3542 days ago)Pretty cool. I like it that you used the small pieces to make it look like it's falling apart. Good luck!
(5 years and 3542 days ago)Nice work, looks like a woodcarve print. Good luck!
(5 years and 3542 days ago)I like the clean sketch as how you made it in step 2, I like the use of light and darker green, but I'm not sure if the rough thin strokes fit in the image. Just my opinion though. Good luck!
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Nice idea, but I think I'd prefer the fish without filtered body (see your step 9), right now you lost all contact with the original source. Good luck!
(5 years and 3543 days ago)Nice ink work, freaky result . Good luck!
(5 years and 3544 days ago)Nice idea, but imo the idea of using the petals as feathers is completely gone since they're beyond recognition. Go back to your Step 2, have a good look at your reference again and place then the petals in a logic order. May take a little time but is certainly worth it. Good luck!
(5 years and 3547 days ago)Edit: looks way better now!
Nicely done. Perhaps you'd like to add some more highlights here and there so that at least the hand & arm will be more visible from the body. Good luck!
(5 years and 3547 days ago)Nice work . Good luck!
(5 years and 3549 days ago)Nice SBS, can be easily turned into a tutorial! Result is also neat, maaaaybe I'd add some bubble and such under water too. Good luck!
(5 years and 3551 days ago)Dunno what's a Gut, but it looks pretty good . Good luck!
(5 years and 3551 days ago)Compliments for the SBS, entry itself is nice too (perhaps a biiiit less motion blur, but that's up to you). Good luck!
(5 years and 3551 days ago)Composition looks quite ok. It's just that the background has another light source compared to the elf. Good luck!
(5 years and 3551 days ago)Yup, erikuri has a good point, the flower & bubbles can do with some blur. You also may wanna experiment with a blue-ish photofilter for the flower, so that the colors match better with the background. Good luck!
(5 years and 3553 days ago)Nice, but maaaybe you'd like to crop it a bit (skip some from the right and top side) so that the butterfly wont be in the middle of the image. Just my opinion though. Good luck!
(5 years and 3553 days ago)Edit: good improvement imo, composition looks better
Quite original and convincing. Good luck!
(5 years and 3553 days ago)Pretty good result! It's personal, but maaaybe I'd choose a bit other color for the background (or maybe a bit lighter in the middle), so that the image will be more spectacular. Did you also try to keep the remote without blur? Perhaps that'll give even more the highspeed effect. Good luck!
(5 years and 3553 days ago)Edit: new background fits better imo
Very funny creature & ditto style. Minor improvement can be to cut off a part of the grass (personally I'd say the lower half), so there's even more focus on the bird itself (imo the green is a tiny bit too "heavy" for the image), but ok it's also up to you. Good luck!
(5 years and 3554 days ago)Edit: yeap, good adjustment, imo
Colorful and juicy, yes. You may want to delete the 2nd L in "real". Good luck!
(5 years and 3554 days ago)Edit: fixed
Looks quite ok. If you see the boy in the background and then the hole in the glass and connect these 2 with an imaginary line, I'd expect the bullit going up instead of down. A possible nice thing about moving the bullit more higher is that you look against it which gives it a more impressive angle (you may want to make it a bit bigger too for an exaggerated perspective effect, is up to you). Good luck!
(5 years and 3554 days ago)Very nice image. Good luck!
(5 years and 3554 days ago)It's pretty well done (if you compare to the source image), but indeed would have made more sense if ie you'd leave the Liberty the normal way. Good luck!
(5 years and 3555 days ago)Looks pretty good, I do agree with erathion though, otherwise try to make the dog's edges a tiny bit softer so it matches with the rest even better. Good luck!
