Nice mood, I like the colors. But please please recheck the reflection from the merry go round. Right now the reflection continues under the table, which is not possible. Also, compare the reflection to the one from the other objects. The further away, the more blurry (well, a bit) it becomes. Would be nice of you could make it like that for the merry go round too. Good luck!
(5 years and 3781 days ago)Certainly improved, cigaret is a nice detail . Good luck!
(5 years and 3782 days ago)I think this can be seen as ontheme. From a more grown up girl to a little girl. I might have made her head a bit bigger compared to the body, so it will be more in kiddie proportions (and maybe reduce her breasts a bit more). Good luck!
(5 years and 3783 days ago)Image is pretty ok constructed, but I kinda miss a background. Or at least some kinda table where you put the glasses on. Good luck!
(5 years and 3783 days ago)Pretty nice. If you flip the statue's face and then put it in the same position, the lightsource will be the same as from the foreground. Good luck!
(5 years and 3790 days ago)Duckie is sweet. Just not completely sure how I should see this. The duckie is not a ghost, right? Because then I wouldnt expect the lillies and duckweed to be on the duck's back like that. Good luck!
(5 years and 3790 days ago)Funny Give the squirrel some more saturation so it fits better with the colors of the background. Good luck!
(5 years and 3790 days ago)Nice idea. As Nator says, I might have pulled out the text too. Also, if you dont fade out the axe blade in the tree but give it a hard edge created by parts of the tree, it will look more that the axe is inside the tree. Good luck!
(5 years and 3790 days ago)Good idea, all her feet may need a bit more of masking just as her skirt. Also, you may wanna increase the shadow on the floor, make it closer to her feet. Right now she seems to float a bit. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Pretty nice effect (the lion is made of chocolate, right?). Suggestion to add a bit of shading on the strawberry under the front paw of the lion. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Looks quite ok. Although I know that it's in the original, I'd recommend to remove the water horizon inside the bulb. The main horizon in your entry is lower, if you remove the water, you'll look more against the firehouse and will match better with the rest of the bulb. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Looks quite cool! Nice reconstruction to make the cabin 3D. Maybe 2 things you might want to look at. First is that you may wanna add some shadow on the right engine (for viewer). It looks like light comes from left up, if you add some shadow from the cabin on the engine, they look more connected to each other. Second thing that you maaaybe can do is skew the whole cabin a little bit on the right, to match the perspective better with the background. On the other hand, the way it is right now is not impossble either . Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)EDIT: dunno what I was thinking, but I saw it completely wrong if it was about the light, so skip what I say, apart from that it's nice work
Nice colors, DoF and theme. Small suggestion: maybe you can give some shade to the balloon itself (left under, since the light comes from the upper right corner), so that the balloon gets a bit more 3D shape. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Nice idea, but imo I think you can make the wood look more like parts of the hand. Right now the wood still looks quite much like it's a straight texture without a real interaction between the shape of a thumb or wrist and how the wood would look like. Try to look more for thé perfect wood parts to make a thumb or finger, show more that the hands are really wooden (for example by making the edges of the hands more rough or just use the tree's edges, would be the easiest) and warp a bit more around the wrists to get a more round effect. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Pretty ok . If you mirror the cigarette, it will get the same light as the skull. And up to you, but I might have blend the under jaw from the skull a bit more with the ash so that the jaw really becomes part of the cigarette. Maybe with a bit of fading and smudging you an get that effect. But again, only if you want that. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Not bad. If you can pay a bit more attention to the girl's edges, would be nice. Right now I see juuust a little bit too many white or faded edges around the girl's shape. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Quite funny expressions . Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Ah, that's all ok (I already had a clue). Thing is, on my screen I see 2 different backgrounds. One is real black and another one from -I guess- the bulb source. Up to you if you want to keep it like that. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Nice, but why so much black around it? Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Texture is prett grungey . Maybe if you use another more eroded font (or a few) for the messages (check for example here http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=107), they might get more relationship with the background. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Nice colors, I just thought that grungey people never looked happy . Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Nice colors, maybe I'd have expected some shadow under her dress. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)No bad idea, but the edges are too fade out for my taste. Try to give the pants some more shape. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Quite funny . I'd remove the wire in front though (because right now both ends dont fit well. I'd say better remove than show that they dont fit). Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Good pick of sources. Despite that she's a freak I do suppose that this woman also has a certain logical anatomy. Looking at her lower left arm, I dont see well how the arm and shoulder are supposed to be attached to her body. I'd suggest to lower her whole arm and if needed rotate it a bit contraclockwise so it will look better that her arm is attached to her body. Good luck!
(5 years and 3791 days ago)Maybe it was a detail, but I do think this is better, yes . You agree with it too? Good luck!
(5 years and 3792 days ago)Clever . If you duplicate the door knob layer and set the blending to overlay (or maybe multiply with some opacity), the knob will look more saturated and suits more with the hand&key. If you add anything like a background, there will be more connection between the left and right part of the image. Good luck!
(5 years and 3792 days ago)Looks quite ok, but you should flip the little train source so it would get the same light as in the background (little train=light from left, background=light from right). Good luck!
(5 years and 3792 days ago)No bad idea. The "digitalized" key is a bit rotated, the texture is just horizontal. Maybe the texture would look better (as in really part of the key) if it's in the same angle as the key? Not sure if that's possible in cyberspace though . Good luck!
(5 years and 3792 days ago)EDIT: Good changes imo
Looks quite ok. Did you also see the result without the line art? I ask this because sometimes it looks a bit like the lines and the shading seem to lack interaction, like they dont complement each other. Of course it also depends if you want that and what your goal is, but I might have smudged some of the lines maybe. But well done for the rest. Good luck!
(5 years and 3802 days ago)Interesting image, I like the use of colors (which is barely used , but that makes it also nice). n the one hand I might say that you'd like to have a look at the feathers around her legs which could do with some better masking + that the left wing (for viewer) doesnt fit with her arm. On the other hand, there's also something like artistic expression, so it's up to you what you prefer. Good luck!
(5 years and 3804 days ago)Not bad, but please please fix the edges from the roofs of the houses. Good luck!
(5 years and 3804 days ago)"Kire"?!! That reminds me on the movie Audition where a girl says kiri kiri kiri. People who saw that movie know what I mean and why I shiver *brrrrrr*. Ontopic, make the cut a bit less hard in the edges, add a bit of shading to make it look less flat. Good luck!
(5 years and 3804 days ago)Just out of curiosity, did you create the minotaurus from scratch or you downloaded the model from a site? Good luck!
(5 years and 3805 days ago)Pretty nice result. Just dont get well why you added some shading on the white parts inbetween the colored lines. As far as I understand those white parts is just background, right? So it should be just plain white or whatever color the background has. Good luck!
(5 years and 3806 days ago)Nice idea. Apart from the light, maybe you can also pay a bit more attention to the composition (well, for another time then, I understand you made all on one layer). Right now the goblin and the tree are on almost the exact same height & close to each other and just behind the goblin are also some birds (very sharp/focussed). I can imagine that from this camera view you'd see the top of the tree way higher compared to the goblin. This way you also use the space in the image better and will happen some more than the air that you have now (which also doesnt have much connection with the rest of the image). If you also put the goblin a bit more to the right and the birds some higher too, you make the image more "open" and at the same time let them involve more with each other, so that the image is more a whole. Good luck!
(5 years and 3807 days ago)Haha, nice choice for the mouth. Shows pretty well how I look like after too many hours of PXL Good luck!
(5 years and 3808 days ago)Yup, I remember this one! Still a funny one Good luck!
(5 years and 3809 days ago)With thanks for the kind words . Good luck!
(5 years and 3810 days ago)Nice colors. The jelly fishes may have more impact if you make them (a bit) different from each other, for example another wavey tentacle shape for some of them. Good luck!
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Nice use of source, result reminds me a bit of the Björk video All is Full of Love (which is an excellent videoclip). It would be nice if here and there you can give the edges a bit more thickness (ie there where the body starts) and perhaps make the mouth and nose a bit sharper (inside the face then, not the outside contour). If you'd rotate the upper arm from the robot a bit (contraclockwise) and add a bit of shading (can do with some shading under the face and chest too), the shape will be more visible and may create more depth. For the rest nice result. Good luck!
(5 years and 3811 days ago)Not bad combination, but why not put her right hand in front of the dress. That'll look way more logical. Good luck!
(5 years and 3812 days ago)Author, if a mod told you about removing your name, then maybe it's no bad idea to remove the name. Good luck!
(5 years and 3812 days ago)Teddybear has a funny face . Maybe you can fix the masking here and there; sometimes the edges fade away too much. Good luck!
(5 years and 3812 days ago)What Andershegelund says . You may want to fade out the color from face to neck a bit more (not it's really very sudden color change). Good luck!
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Positive future image . If I see it correct, the main focus on the original image is in the middle of the picture. Down and on top in the image it's more out of focus. In that case I'd also expect the text (fruit and fish) to be a bit more out of focus). Just an idea. Good luck!
(5 years and 3813 days ago)Myeah, I know...I'm already seriously thinking of changing it...Good luck!
(5 years and 3815 days ago)I look pretty good . Mmm...maybe the problem is that I'm copyright...Good luck!
(5 years and 3815 days ago)Not bad, but you forgot that right now the light sources come from two total different directions. Good luck!
(5 years and 3815 days ago)Great to see this entry back again, really very cool! Good luck!
