In case you'd like it, you can use the warp tool and give the fish more the shape like it's diving. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Nice image, the background with other ships is pretty convincing! Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)It's almost summer in the northern hemisphere, right? Image is pretty ok, small nitpick: if you flip the shell (horizontally), it will have the same lightsource as the rest of the images (or at least you put the shadows to the right side, while right now the shell seems to get light from right too). Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Pretty cool boat! Image is nice too. I might have given the lighthouse some blur since it pretty far away and the area around the horizon is also a bit more blurry. Apart from that, give a bit more waves around the boat's front. There is already one splash there and that fits great, but behind that splash the boat fades a bit away in the water. With another wave you could hide that. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)I understand the red wine . Funny face, impossible to call it angry . Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Pretty nice work! If you're able to feather the edges around the crown and torch a bit (yeah, read that you flattened your file ), it would look even more real. Juuuust a little bit, softly and keep as close to the edges as possible so you wont harm the background. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Pretty cool, idea is nice. Apart from the light, also pay attention to the perspective though. Although this is not impossible, you see that some of the roofs of the buildings are above the horizon line, because you can not look upon them. The horizon line in your entry however is way higher than you'd expect according to the buildings. Suggestion to remove the whole sea behind the waves (yes, a challenge ) so the perspective is more correct. Apart from that, the waves most likely will look way more impressive too. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Nice mood although I should agree with Dan. But to remove the sun....would be a pity. What about moving it to the left side of the image, so the light comes a bit more from the original rirection? Also, would be nice if you could combine the sea from your own image some more with the source image, so that the sea is somewhat lighter. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Interesting image. I like the combination with the water, it mixes well together. Have to admit I didnt see directly a horse in it, but that wont make the image less nice. Overall well done! Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)I guess I missed something, this looks pretty blue. Wouldnt you like to give the decoration some kinda blue either, author? Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)To keep it more according to the contest goal, you should reduce the red in the blue, yes. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Funny fishes . Maybe you can add some little highlights here and there on them, coming from the light beams. Ans I'd make the darker seaweed on the left side behind larger, at least not that it suddenly stops. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)In case I'd ever take a dog (unlikely), then I guess it would be something like this, yes . Very personal, but I'd crop the lower part till somewhere around the rock in the foreground. Now I know that there are waves, but as 8DX suggested, you còuld make them bigger. No bad idea, cause then they're at least bigger than the waves way further in the background. With the crop I think you could make it a more confronting image. But maybe that's just in my head. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Not bad as theme. I also might have chosen for a bit more blue-ish blue, with also a little bit more grey. But of course that's all personal preference. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Interesting image, I like the light. Perhaps the big planet in the right corner would receive a bit more light (compared to the smaller planet in front of the big one). Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Nothing wrong that it'sa bit dark, but in case you want to lighten up the whole image and you still have your file in layers (I hope), just add an Levels Adjustmentlayer on top of the other layers are play a bit with that. Perhaps in combination with a brightness/contrast adjustment layer, up to you. Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Looks pretty cool, but yes a HiRes would be very appreciated! Good luck!
(5 years and 3847 days ago)Interesting concept, but fully agree with elemare. I'd go for some more higher quality images, keep them in the right proportions (press shift while scale images) and try to match the light from added images compared to the source image. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)A bit of abstract and interesting image. I like the dynamic. Good title too . Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Looks quite ok! Agree about the soft curves, I'd suggest a same kinda thing for the hair. If you can add some highlight (from the original source) on the shoulder, would be nice too. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Something tells me you like chocolate . Suggestion to wrap the text a bit differently around the cup. Right now it doest follow the 3D-shape from the cup enough. With warp you could fix it pretty well (give it more curve). Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Nice image, the waves look good! Curious about why those birds there are flying while it's raining cats and dogs . Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Pretty cool entry. I like the robot's shape: huge body with minimum legs. Maybe with such strong light from the left shoulder I expect some highlights on the iron in front (just a bit on the sides). Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Funny image, I also like how the numbers and all float outside the watch. Perhaps make the left side a tiny bit more yellow-ish (you already added some), or maybe some stronger highlight what you also see in the dripping from the candle. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Pretty ok! I agree with OliviasArts about the head., In fact I wouldnt expect such heavy dripping there since there's less that can be dripping in the first place. Pixel also has a point. The transparrence can work, but what if some parts around the edge has more dripping so it would cover the base more so there would be less/none transparency? Maybe an idea. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Funny, but I kinda agree with elemare. I'd keep the eyes at least visible enough (that is, not blurry). Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Watch out when you melt things, that the shape wont completely disappear or that the melted part turns into a shapeless blob. The subtle parts around the head are ok, the part around the legs is smart, because you used shadow to stress the dripping part more, but the statue's right arm/wing is a bit messy. I'd recommend to keep that also more subtle. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Haha, yup I remember this one! Still very funny image, SBS is recommended before voting. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Yup, still a fun image! Maybe you'd like to give the tail and backpaws a bit more blurry edges, since there's depth of field (check also the fingers around that area), could make this look even better, imo! Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Creative work, nice composition. Maaaybe you could crop the image a bit on the left side, up to you. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Boy, quite some work.HiRes is nice, but I think it's almost a pity you didnt crop the image (and no, dont do it of course), like a third of the left side of the image and a bit from the right so you focus more on the building and status. The plants in the forground could have been for example darker and some blur so you create more depth and you focus more on the most important (yeah well, in my view that is). But well done. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Masking and shadow looks pretty ok. Some nitpick, but I do think it needs to be fixed: the soles from his shoes are kinda missing. There is some, but compared to the original picture there could be more. I think with more sole he'd look better (as in less cut out around the feet). Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)She sits there well, the coloring looks good and matches with the rest of the image. In case you can mask the lighter parts around her hair a bit (or make them a bit darker/less contrast with background), would be very nice! Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)EDIT: looks better and better, well done!
That's blue indeed! Maybe bit of stupid nitpick, but I think it would be a more striking image if you used only images that links to blue. I mean, you have the sea/air, which is blue. Why then from all things also the tree (which is a nice picture, btw)? Just curious . Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Pretty nice furniture and I like the light. The cat is looks good too, haha . I agree with Dan about the ceiling though, it could be cropped a bit. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Not bad! I agree with Dan about the steam reflection, for some reason I expect it to be less visible than it is right now. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)For some reason I think this is kinda cool. In the superhighres version there are some rough edges and all. You could make them more smooth with the pentool or brush, on the other hand maybe this way it fits more with the whole image. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Funny image. If you can make the edges from the tail part a bit more smooth& sharp, would be even nicer! Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Nice result! See your original frog image? The furthers front paw and the back paw have some blur, that's because of the depth of field. You also see that on the finger itself. If you can manage to give those paws in your image a same kinda blur effect, would be very nice! Up to you though. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Fille, with alphaville you refer to ALF from the 80's "comedy" serie? At least that was my first connection . Funny creatures, I like the hands. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Creative. A bit more explanation in the SBS would be nice. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Funny effect. In case you want to keep on using the clouds outside the frame, then why not using the ones that are in front in the original image? There'll be a better connection than how it is now (going from dark suddenly to light). Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Congrats! With your "Please don't consider this one"
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Apart from all that's said about the reflection, which I agree with, you could add some light to the girl too. The main light seems to come from the left, so I'd expect some highlights on the girl's right arm and leg (left for viewer). What you can do is add a new layer that you convert to clipping mask as part of the girl's layer, fill it with grey (real grey, like 50% black) blending mode overlay and then with the dodge tool softly lighten the areas around leg and arm. Worth the try. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)You know that scene in Terminator 2 where the T1000 get's up from the floor and all the metal slips together? You already have the right material for it, but for me it's not convincing yet that this robot is actually coming from that blue blob. You used some liquify for the blob stuff, I'd do the same for the terminator itself. Let the 2 images really smoothly get fall into each other, like you barely see 2 images anymore. Also, use the volume of the blue stuff, connect it better with the robot's body. Worth the try! Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Pretty ok! It would be nice if you could give the manes from middle to behind a bit sharper edges, just as you have near the dragon's head and neck. Good luck!
(5 years and 3848 days ago)Nice work. I like the reflections from the lobsters in the blue organix stuff. Good luck!
(5 years and 3849 days ago)EDIT: I wasnt completely sure, but yes, you surprised me with this, author
Not bad. Maybe you can do a bit more with the background so it fits more with the surfer, up to you of course. Good luck!
(5 years and 3849 days ago)Looks quite natural, well done! Perhaps a little bit of shading for the "fishes" around the head and belly (light comes from up left), but right now it's already believable. Good luck!
(5 years and 3849 days ago)The more interesting composition, though would have been nice if the url would fit perfectly with the eye (left and right aligned). Good luck!
