Really nice idea, author! In my opinion...the face plate is detracting from the cool effect. If you somehow have part of the face showing at the bottom, like it has already fallen...I think that would help focus the creepy part more. Or...if you have him holding his face...that would be good. Nice thinking!

Dig the idea, the perspective on the hard angles of the face are throwing me off.

Your horizon line is off, it's a beautiful backlighting shot, I just find the tilted horizon a bit distracting. Whenever you have a visible horizon line in a photo, even in selective focus and macro shots, not just landscapes, you have to be really aware of how level your camera is. Luckily out of all the possibilities that could be wrong with your photo, slightly tilted is the easiest to fix. You might wanna look more closely at your photos on your screen. I find it helpful to spot silly mistakes like that after you put the photo away for a day or to, get it out of your mind, and revisit it.

A unique vision here on this entry. It separates itself from the rest with your sphere and hands. Nice job being different.

Try to blur the hard edges on the trees in the background. What's the source for the waterfall?

I agree. To me the brush detracts from the image.

Weird sense for a fantasy garden but I like it. The only thing I would corrected is the masking of the arm. Also, the brush around the arm does not fit with the image. Either get rid of it or use another, more detailed brush.

hehehe.. very funny.. (try a soft burn brush inside the mouth.. it will give you a bit of depth you weren't aware of... (easy though.. I always end up blackening everything and end up with a big goob of melted licorice in the throat.. or a blood clot.. giggle snort.. but very fun image all around!!! good luck

I've had that happen to me. I worked on the piece for like 2 solid hours, and I thought "maybe I should save it", but I was so close to getting it done I put it off, and like a minute later the power went out.
That was totally my fault, and I admit I cried a little, lol. It's funny now. Ever since then I save my work pretty often = )

The tear seems to drip from the wrong way, and if you do a darker line by her "lost" eye so it appears to be closed and badly beaten that would make the whole pic more realistic. IMO

very good however, i can't help but think i am the only one who struggled to actualy figure out what it was saying in the distance as noone else has pointed this out, good luck anyways

Fabulously funny!

There is a movie and a book called "The Ransom of Red Chief." It is very funny. The book and the movie are a little different, of course. But this image reminds me of that. I think that I saw/read it in 6th grade.

Lip looks more convincing but the eye pupil is a little small on the black eye.

I think you blackened her eye a little too much. It doesn't look very realistic. I would try just using a closed eye source and making it blend to the face but the rest looks pretty good. GL!

Very true,u did very nice work on the mouth,nose and his right eye,but left one now look unrealistic and distorted...try to fix that author,because this entry have a lot of potential...good luck
